Description: Enjoy the historic atmosphere of medieval Munich in one of the most...
Enjoy the historic atmosphere of medieval Munich in one of the most beautiful locations in the historic city centre. In the lovingly restored vaults of the dukes mill dating back to 1573 we are offering upscale Bavarian cuisine and fine Franconian wines alongside famed and freshly brewed Ayinger draft beer from the families brewery. In the Pfistermuhle there are four vaults with more altogether 95 seats. Thirty additional seats are available in the beer garden in Summer.

I loved the Bavarian steak with white asparagus!!!

I ordered white asparagus special with small Bavarian steak. It was great. My husband ordered Beef stew with Bavarian wine. Dessert was vanilla ice cream with rhubarb. It was first time to see this combination of vanilla ice cream and rhubarb. It was very delicious. I was impressed. I forgot... read more

Excellent menu, very knowledgeable waiter, superb food. The restaurant has several rooms so if pone wants privacy it's no problem. Don't go if you are on a limited budget but if not then I really do recommend.

We booked the restaurant after a work event in Munich, with 8 of us in total. The food was beautiful, both to look at and to eat! I would highly recommend to book a table here while in Munich. The service was excellent, with a dedicated waiter to our table, who was attentive, extremely helpful and had a great sense... More

Pfistermuehle looks very cosy from outside - so I had to walk in. I was met by a very charming young woman dressed old stylish. I made a booking for two people for the coming evening. Big positive surprise next evening we were greeted by the young woman, she recalled me and even our last name - 5 stars to... More

An exceptional and atmospheric restaurant in the heart of the old city. The welcome and quality of service were very good. The wood lined walls of the restaurant create an intimate and typically Bavarian ambiance. The Ayingers beer was exceptional and perfectly complemented the excellent food - lobster soup and venison ragout with spatzle. The total bill for two with... More

Pfistermühle isn't cheap (60€ each a la carte with one glass of wine). For the historic centre of Munich, this is not over expensive under one condition: that the food really shine. Which it does in parts (the main course: duck breast, the desert), but definitely not the appetizer (cheese a la creme brulee). One glass of wine was really... More

We stayed in the marvellous Platzl Hotel and because it was Tuesday 10 february the old city was full of Carnaval par'ticipants. We did'nt like to stroll by night in the old city and decided to have dinner at Pfistermühle Restaurant. I had Ochsenfilet, my wife had Zanderfilet. We shared a large cheese plate, had 2 Laufburg and 0,5 Adelholzner... More

After taking in a performance at the Munich Opera we had a 9 PM reservation at this beautiful restaurant. The greenery on the exterior grows up the side of the building and it feels like you are entering the Bavarian cellar of family or friends. The service was in classic Bavarian attire and was prompt but in no way pushy.... More
