We had a late lunch in the restaurant. We had a few appitizer's and soup. It was off hours, but the restaurant is really lovely and the service was great. Nice selection of wine and beer. Wish we had gone there for dinner. Would definitely recommend.

We went there for coffee and desert wine after a visit to the Hofbrauhaus. Obviously not the standard dinner arrangement or attire. We were accommodated in a very accepting and professional manner and were able to end our evening on a high note.

The food and wine selection are limited but of good quality. A little on the expensive side. The service is excellent - they must be proud as they have their entire staff listed on the menu. Nice to be able to sit outdoors and still feel some privacy.

Beautiful restaurant outside and especially inside the 1573 vaulted ceilings and cozy seating. Service was excellent as attentive servers made suggestions that proved to be excellent. I had the Veal liver dinner, every bite memorable.

Cozy place in the Platzl Hotel, with a very nice menu and great service. The rooms are striking, with low, domed ceilings. We went back for a second dinner and were very pleased.

We’d eaten at Pfistermuhle several years ago and enjoyed it, so we decided to do it again. Things change. We change. It’s hard to rate this restaurant. First, it is divided into about four nicely decorated rooms, so it is a pleasant setting. Only a few tables were occupied at around 8:00 PM – a no more when we left... More

During our wandering through the old part of Munich, we stumbled across this attractive ivy-covered building and were lucky enough to get one of the last available reservations for the next night, a Saturday. The weather end of August was nice enough so that we could sit outside and admire the historic façade and watch the passersby in the pedestrian... More

Traveling alone and had the best table in the room! The restaurant is in historic (1573) vaults with groin-vaulted ceilings which make for elegant Bavarian décor. Villory and Boch china hold the special local gustations. 1) Creamed turnip soup with venison meatball, currents and whipped cream 2) Lamb chops and sausage from Gutshof Polting in Lower Bavaria with rosemary sauce,... We had dinner here on our last night in Munich. It was a short stay because we were going to ski to Val Garden, so we actually had only one day. We found the restaurant at day time accidentially and decided to come back for dinner. When we arrived the rest was full but one very nice lady talled us... More

Really great Bavarian food. Menus in English, German and Russian. Very good staff. My advice - look just last page with local specialties! Ragout of deer calf haunch is something, Terrine of venison is a kind of dream, and very special kurbis soup that is absent at on-site menus (don't know why). Desserts are also outstanding, as far as local... More
