Delicious French in Bavaria at a great price

We were on tour to Munich when we found this little location right in the center of Haidhausen wich is really cute to visit. We were surprised to find better French food as in France, the service is on top with real French waiters and a real wine carte, the atmosphere is charming. It was really, and two times, a... More

We just had a delicious meal at Rue des Halles! We had been wanting to go there, but after the previous December review, I have to admit I was a bit leery. No need! The staff could not have been nicer! They let us choose our table and we had one of the cozy corner tables. Our friends go there... More

On arriving at Rue des Halles, we found our table, located by the door, had been laid in an awkward, rather formal set up for 3 people across two tables and politely asked if we could move to another table or reposition the place settings closer together. There began (we later discovered) the start of our problems. Our waiter Pierre... More

Great seafood at reasonable price (if you choose the set menu options). The fixed menu can be supplemented from the main menu if you prefer a more upmarket selection. Good oysters, and great sole, with nice wine selection. Staff very friendly and multi-lingual. Nice place to go to if you have had enough German fare on a Munich trip. Good... More

Five of us went to Rue Des Halls for dinner this evening, and everyone agreed it was a standout experience. The room is charming, yet unassuming, the service was top notch from start to finish, and the food was absolutely delicious. It is worth traveling to Munich just to have dinner here. We all had various starters, including shrimp and... More

Rue des Halles is located in a great area in beautiful Munich. Every course was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. The wines paired by the chef were perfectly matched. I really recommend the place!

It is a pleasant place but you mostly do not even need a reservation, which may be a comment, too. The food is ok but not hilarious

I have been hiere several time. They offer "decouvert" menues, which are tasty, intresting and not so expensive. Food is generally of very good quality, the choice of wine is wide and of my taste. Service is generally quite fast, staff seems to be originally french, with a bit of the characterstic snobish way of doing. I like very much... More
