The food was exceptional, the service outstanding and atmosphere classy. Worth the money and worth a visit. Avocado Penang was something special.

I can't say a bad word about this thai restaurant, we visited for a friends 30th birthday as a change from traditional Bavarian cuisine and it was absolutely delicious. They had English menus which is always a bonus, the waitress was also very helpful and spoke good English. I can recommend the Panang avocado, gorgeous. And my husband chose ped... More

We are from the east coast US but now live in the heartland. We have been yearning for good Thai food and this was terrific. I have spent some time in Bangkok and this was the best panang curry I have had since I was last there. It was also a wonderful break from Schnitzel and Goulash.

For a change of pace from Bavarian cuisine, Yum is a great choice. On a side street just outside of Viktualienmarkt, Yum was a pleasant surprise. A warm welcome followed by some of the best Thai food anywhere made the evening quite enjoyable. An easy walk if you are staying in central Munich.

My wife is Thai, and a gourmet chef to boot. We enjoy Thai food at least several times a week. This restaurant serves some of the best Thai food we've had outside of Thailand. It's a bit expensive by American Standards (over 100 euros for one beer, two bottles of water, and food for two adults and two elementary school... More

Had a wonderful experience at Yum. Although we did not make reservations the staff were able to accommodate the three of us at the bar area. The service was impeccable! Our food was delivered quite quickly and I can't say enough about how amazing the dishes we ordered were. Probably some of the best Thai I've had outside of Thailand.... More

Yum was recommended to us by the hotel we were staying at. All I can say is thanks. The food was amazing. I have lived in Austria and Germany for a year now and have been looking for a good Asian resturant (that when it says scharf on the menu means it) and Yum delivers that in spades and it's... More

Fantastic food. Good service. Met friends in Munich for long weekend. It was highly recommended and we tried to book on Wednesday. Couldn't get Fri or Sat, but got in on Sunday. Stared starters - chicken on skewers with two dips. Good fun as you get a burner/flame to do extra charring at the table yourselves. Big portions. The spicy... More

They had the traditional Thai dishes, but I would recommend their version of Won Ton;s and the crispy duck breast!

This was my favorite upfront while picking a restaurant in the list from Tripadvisor in Munich. The atmosphere is very cozy and the drinks and food are just excellent ! I took a peek in the kitchen; just bloody perfect! We will come here again!
