We went there with a group of friends and got immediately absorbed by the atmosphere. Our waitress was attentive and brought our drinks out very quickly. The food was excellent. Definitely recommended!

Recommanded by the concierge, we went to this resto for our first evening at Munich. Great food, a plate for two can be for 3 easily. Beer was goid. Great service and excellent Bavarian style food. We loved this place?

this restaurant tends to be always full, go either early or with a reservation. Usually this tipe of Bavarian restaurants offer big portions of food, that usually is hard to finish them, this is not the case here, nevertheless the quality of the food and the service are great

I would have rated this "good" if such a rating was allowed. I thought that it was better than average for some things but didn't reach "very good". We were there on 2nd January so there was no seating outside. It was really busy inside but as we had booked we didn't need to wait like some others. The waitress... More

We went here on purpose to eat knodels (dumplings). We choose the knodel trio, three different knodels with different seasonings and a dessert (pancakes with apples). Nice portions, good taste, good service, nice place. Less traditional than the classic Bavarian restaurants of Munich, modern presentation for the plates we choose.

I'm not a fan of these huge mass restaurants and this one is really a factory! They fit hundreds of people and they do get full. However, objectively there is a reason why this restaurant is well rated on TA: As far as food is concerned, it's close to impossible to do any better when you are that big. (and... More

Visited here when I think this place was listed in the top 10 restaurants in Munich and it was located close to where I was staying. It's close to the Deutches Museum but potentially misses passing trade as on the other side of the Isar to the City Centre - it's definately worth looking out for though, The outside has... More

I was there with a society who were celebrating their annual ball and dinner. It was an expensive affair. There was a set meal with soup, main course and dessert. The soup was tasty but would not be considered anything special. The main course had a choice between beef and risotto. I chose the risotto and found it to be... More

Nice and big restaurant; had some nice beers and a typical Bavarian dish that we shared with the table. Good service in typical dress. Very nice place
