Great wine list, with wonderful German and other wines. Appetizers - mushrooms in pastry with a heavenly sauce was crazy good, The potato soup was the best I have ever had. My Bavarian duck entree was large and very good, as were all of the other entrees. Sorbets and Creme brulee desserts great. A taste of German brandies afterwards. Wow,... More

Located close to Munich city heart Weinhaus Neuner provides excellent choice of traditonal food with strong alpine influence and comprehensive wine list where you may find carefully selected german reds and many other. Good service, helpful in wine selection as well as getting through the menu. Tasted beef carpaccio and duck confit with Heger Sonnet Pinot Noir and really enjoyed... More

Food was very good - well prepared and large protions. No first course required. The Weinehouse evidently is specialised in German wines, so anyone considering anything else but German ones will have a very limited selection. We found this was the only real set back that would be hard to change. Service was prompt and frtiendly. But - as "our"... More

I ate here last Saturday and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. From the amuse bouche to the coffee, the food was delicious and well exceuted. The service was very good, with the staff going out of their way to organise a taxi after dinner and also recommended a nice bar. The atmosphere is wonderful and quite romantic. The prices were... We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. We split the grilled shrimp with fresh greens and pesto as an appetizer, followed by roast duck for my friend and venison for me. The venison was tender yet tasty. The Austrian red wines were terrific. My friend was gluten intolerant and they made sure that everything met her needs - the... More

This is one of the best restaurants I ever dinned in. The food is half-way between the classic and the modern: bavarian quality food, but not beer-garden style... Good and friendly service. Only two details to improve: there is only a german menu; the wine list is short on foreign wines (and german reds are not stimulating...). Once I return... More
