der pschorr is what i imgained of a big beer hall for food and beer. good choice for food and beer as well. lovely staff, big portions for food and great for people watching :)
What a great Bavarian restaurant, beautiful traditional food in a delightful historic surrounding. The waitresses were in traditional dress and were attentive and friendly even though I had to change tables a number of times which I'm sure was a pain! Very reasonable prices and huge portions. All in all a fantastic experience.
An abrupt start to our visit by the surly waiter, but I have come to expect that sort of treatment and just treat it with a sense of humour. Came here for lunch after a morning of sightseeing. Busy but found table straight away, promptly served. Food was good and beer nice. Cost €37 for two people for a main... More
Went there with my wife and daughter on a busy night. This is not a place for a romantic dinner. The atmosphere was much like the German beer halls - noisy but a fun environment. Seating was immediate since we had a reservation, which I would recommend. Ordered beer from the wood barrel. It was excellent! This place is known... More
Perfectly located across one of the most exciting markets in Munich center the location is wonderful full of light spacious and buzzing with people. Very good traditional Bavarian dishes. The portions are very generous [maybe too generous !]. Great beer selection and the beer master makes a great show in opening the new barrels! What needs to improve is the... More
Traditional bavarian food for tourists. The service was friendly, food was good quality, although a bit expensive. The place is obviously popular near Viktualienmarkt. However, not the best place to sample the local food and drinks - but not bad.
We went here with a couple of friends for lunch last saturday, and it was an epic fail! The meat was dry and the sauce definately not enough, neither was the food. The prices were unbelievable high for what we got. But one thing is true the staff was very friendly, we had a baby with us and they made... More
This is our go-to Brauhaus! We live in Munich and take all of our visitors and guests here as well as enjoy a good meal ourselves here at least a couple times a month. The food is consistently fresh, excellent and sourced locally. Unlike the other Brauhauses, this one is not too touristy or loud. The ambiance is quite nice,... More
Despite being in the very center, this is not a tourist trap. The prices are a bit on the high side, but the portions are gigantic. I had spare ribs and managed to eat about 2/3. I'v never had to leave so much on my plate in a restaurant in my life. I believe this dish would be sufficient for... More
Enjoyed the true Bayerische food. We did not have reservations, however we did get seated with another couple. Which was no problem. Service was excellent and the server was very friendly. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Dining Tips- u must ask for your check - when presented be prepared 2 pay. Also do tip the server by rounding the bill... More
