Great place for tourists to get local German specialities

Good food and nice service. A tourist can get any of the local specialties, but I think local people rarely visit here. I would go here again!

Went here on a Monday evening for a business dinner. The hotel recommended us to go here. It is next to the brewery. The beers are great especially the local Nock herberg which they only do here. Also the dark weissbier is fantastic. Take the beer carousel to taste all of them. The food was surprisingly good as I expected... More

I was aiming for the Starkbierfest, but we were hungry and it was cold outside, so we went for lunch. It was quiet, the service was very fast and the food was great. I had a Tscharlis Elefantenohr and my friend had the veal schnitzel, with dunkel (dark) and lager beer. They also have years of Paulaner mugs on display,... More

Headed there with a friend during the spring festival as we needed a sit down and something to eat. The beer was excellent as was the food. The staff were helpful and came straight over with English menus although I asked for a German menu as I was learning and wanted the extra practice!

Have always wanted to visit the brewery tap, and the place is a Halle rather than a Keller. Beer range was very poor, only three out of eight available and the price was 30% more than local bars, but was happy to be there on a cold damp Sunday night. Decided to order food, which is where the experience went... More

Of all the main brewery beer halls in Munich, I have to say this one has the best food--not just for its refined taste, but also it selection, which including some fun and interesting spins on burgers and seafood flammkuchen! In addition to having the best weissbeer, we also loved the starkbier and it's beautiful beer garten, as well as... More

From all the restaurants I visited in Munich, this had the best food and beer (though Paulaner is my favorite beer anywhere, so...). The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was good (not exceptional, but good). Prices were fair considering the quality of the experience. I'll go back FOR SURE next time I'm in Munich.

The restaurant is located next to the Paulaner brewery. It was quite empty on a Sunday night in February: the beers are great and the food is reasonably good. Don't expect to have low-calorie meals here. There is also a huge bier garten next to it. It's open during the warmer seasons. I have been also there a few years... More

We were there yesterday and the waitress gave us three Brezen without us ordering it. We did know that it was not free. At the end we had to pay for all of them, even though we did not eat them all. Upon settling the bill we protested and she said that we can get money for one Brezen back,... More

I was looking forward to find the Paulaner factory and I decided to take lunch here. You can choose from several beers that you will not find them in the city. Food is very good and tasty and the service ia prompt. You can also buy souvenirs including cups, draught glasses, caps. On summer should be even better. Enjoy!
