This is a great little bar/restaurant in Glockenbach. The room is a little Art Nouveau gem - at the junction of 2 roads it's a triangular shape with the bar along the back wall - tapering towards the front door. Definately worth a look (nearest U-Bahn station - Fraunhofer Strasse - U1/2) The food is great and a lot cheaper... More

Nice wide open atmosphere, good food and service. Stopped here for an early dinner, even nicer later when the locals gather to take in a "football" match or generally relax the evening away. Even on rainy evenings the awning kept us nice and dry while we enjoyed the local beers and varied dishes. We thought the prices were good compared... More

Regardless of the night of the week, there's something going on. Good for watching matches, meeting some friends or even if on own at the bar. Good consistent menu with seasonal specials and beers on tap. I 'll try to make it here if nearby while in Munich.

We've eaten here several times over several years. The food is always good and the prices reasonable. There are lots of locals, and it can be very busy. In good weather there is outdoor seating on the street.

This is one of the prettiest rooms I have seen. Lovely ambience, which is almost uniformly lacking in most restaurants of this type. The food is not great....but it's good. And (almost) always consistent. Service is competent, if not friendly. Prices are reasonable for Munich. Get's very busy, and for good reason. Really one of my favorite Munich spots.

Visited on a lads weekend. Went twice - the food was good enough on the Saturday night to warrant a second visit for lunch the next day, coincidentally to watch the Italian Grand Prix on the big screen TVs. Recommend the half duck, which is enormous.

Since the restaurant is off tourists' beaten track, the lively atmosphere is the result of locals giving their stamp of approval to the place. And that says a lot. We were lucky enough to stumble on it by accident. We both raved about the carrot-ginger soup; my wife then had the grilled shrimp salad (large bowl filled with greens) and... More

A Belle Epoche room with windows on three sides. The bar, and the two large TVs at the back, attract the beer drinking crowd who like football (soccer). It would be an ideal place for a wonderful French bistro, but alas all you get is chilli con carne (probably from Birmingham) or the ubiquitous Thai soup. If you ask them... More
