Wow and yummy!

The Dallmayr Delikatessen leaves New York's Balducci's in the dust. Amazing and colorful assortment of meats, fish, cheese, bread, coffee, tea, candies, and pastries. Great photo ops. A little bit of everything foodwise but a LOT of attitude. Expensive place and does not make you fell welcome. Been there two times and both of the times had bad service for absolutely no reason. I'm very polite and speak a fairly good amount of german so there is absolutely no excuse for the bad attitude. I'll never return... More

Interesting place, a upscale deli/grocer/butcher shop where you can pick out many fine items to eat. Even if you dont eat there you must go in and check out all the incredible sweets, teas, alcohol, etc. etc.

I cannot believe this restaurant is not rated higher. From beginning to end, it was nearly flawless. The wait staff, while young, are well trained, articulate, and personable without being too stuffy. For this type of restaurant, I found it strange that there was no uniform at all and the women wait staff were not well dress for this caliber... More

There are many multiple star restaurants who work hard at being one. This one is a role model for all of them. The food is beautiful, tasty, with texture and full of surprise. The service is in the background, but always there. This is like Federer playing tennis at the top of his game, all authentic, effective, to the point... More

There is no different eating here than eating in any other restaurant outside on the street. Even the waitresses are kind of rude and offer a bad service.

On the ground floor is the famous gourmet section with all culinary highlights you can wish for as a foodie, beautifully displayed. On the first floor is the restautant, overlooking the vast lawn in the center of Munich. Perfect service, perfect dishes, delicious desserts. This is where the upper-ten of Munich comes for coffee and cake, a glass of wine... More

We had spent the morning at the Residence, and we're quite hungry. One of our party is a vegetarian, which makes eating in Germany challenging at times. The vegetarian options were good. The service was excellent as was the food. Wandering through the food hall afterwards was a blast.

Great cheese selection (I snuck some back to the states with me). The cafe upstairs is good for a quick coffee/tea break, although you need reservations to sit alongside the wall to have the direct view of the park, it wasn't crowded when I went but all the window seats were taken.

Dallmayr is a gastronomic landmark for us in Munich. Gourmet food, coffee, cheese and chocolate and all those other goodies that would make you happy. Located just at the heat of Marienplatz, it is definitely worth a visit. You can also eat inside which is great fun. For coffee lovers, I definitely recommend Prodomo coffee both as whole beans or...
