Dallmayr has an exquisite restaurant located upstairs and it is truly exceptional. The restaurant is superb and the meals are expertly prepared. Food preparation and presentation are perfect. Dallmayr is a must stop for all gourmets visiting Munich. Highest Recommendation.

Dallmayr is the place to see when visiting Munich. The variety of food is outstanding. Whether you enjoy lobster, take a look of the mouthwatering cakes and sweets or fresh fruits. The restaurant is located on the first floor and is mainly for people who want to try the extraordinary.

About one block away from the Glockenspiel. (As you are facing the Glockenspiel in the middle of City Center, go to the right side and proceed down the block; Restaurant is upstairs, on the right hand side of the street, facing a small city park). Desserts a specialty; but we went for lunch as well and were not disappointed. The... More

A visit to Dallmayr's is a must on any tour of Europe. One item that jumped out at me was the meat. They had a tiny piece of tenderloin, with practically no marbling--a grade of choice would be generous, and yet the price was similar to what I pay for a whole USDA Prime tenderloin at Costco. My mother and... More

Dallmayr as a store and cafe/shop is worth the visit. Excellent selections to try and to garner as gifts for family and friends. Dallmayr has a diverse selection of chocolate treats and the like. Totally worth it.

Gourmet food on offer both in the shop downstairs and the restaurant up above. This place is always hopping. There is no outdoor seating, but if you're lucky enough to get a window seat upstairs, you can overlook one of the few green spaces in the old town area. It's a bit on the pricey side and not conducive to... More

We went just to look at all the food. Would have bought something but it was too crowded. I think you would have to go in the morning we arrived about 3 pm and was crazy. It was difficult walking around so we left.

This is a great store to explore and why not try some of the delicious looking food that was there. The store was really busy while I was there, but the café upstairs not that much, which was great. I had one of the best coffee there, still thinking about it! Wish I had one right now!

Friendly classy staff in the restaurant upstairs; the cake that we had was very tasty and the Dallmayr coffee was good but could have been hotter; expect normal high prices, The store downstairs is worth a visit alone.

We booked a table for four for breakfast upstairs at Dallmayers in Munich. First impression when we arrived was that of a traditional maybe a bit dated looking restaurant, but clean and tidy. The place was busy, but not completely booked up. We waited a little while to get our waiters attention and after studying the breakfast menue we decided... More
