Best Hot Chocolate Ever!!

My Friend and I returned here 3 times for hot chocolate in a week! It would have been 4 but it was Easter Weekend and it was closed by the time we got there! Great to just sit out and watch the pedestrian traffic in the market while you wait for the chocolate to melt!

Beluga is perfect for a hot chocolate to provide comfort from the cold after visiting the Viktualienmarkt. There are plenty of variety of chocolates to choose from, sweet, salty, spicy, dark, white, milk, with nuts, with alcohol... The place is very small so it's likely that you have to take away the cup. I was taking pictures and the lady... More

Went to this little shop by recommendation. Chocolate was fabulous and innovative the way they serve it. The atmosphere was a bit lacking. I expected a busy cafe, but it was really more of a chocolate shop with a few little tables and chairs. I enjoyed my 70% dark chocolate cocoa (you can choose from about 30 + flavors )and... More

We had read that Beluga was one of the best places to have hot chocolate and while we were walking around the Viktualienmarkt we accidentally found it. There are dozens of flavors of hot chocolate available. There are cubes of chocolate (flavored with everything you can think of) lining the shelves and when you order the hot chocolate, you simply... We headed to this place based on the reviews below and so pleased we did. Yummy hot chocolate and a fun experience as you get it as a block on a stick and stir it into a mug of hot milk. Hubby had dark chocolate with rum - provided in a pipette! I had peanut flavour which was gorgeous. We... More

Found this chocolaterie on Trip Advisor. Read all of the other reviews about how good the hot chocolate was and just had to try it for myself! Easy to find (under Louis hotel), tiny shop. There are only two tables inside but lickily we found space outside to sit and it was a nice cool evening, so were happy to... More

This little chocolaterie is hard to find! The nearest underground station is Marienplatz. Once out you can follow your googlemap but look for hotel Louis. You will get lost if you come from the station looking for the chocolaterie. It is within the same complex as the hotel and you need to past the hotel and go down the stairs.... More

We're not raving about the place like many of the other reviewers but it is a nice spot to stop and warm up from the cold. The hot chocolate is good, not great and rather overpriced. There is very little seating inside and just wooden stools so not really a proper place to relax and have a drink unless it's... More
