We had been to Takumi several times before. This was the first time this winter, though. The place still has it's particular charme and obviously still is very popular, attracting locals, travellers and expats. We went on a Wednesday evening (gyoza special price evening). The gyoza were good, but not outstanding and my ramen was also good, but not to... More

Had Miso Ramen and Shoyo Ramen at this restaurant. Unfortunately they don't have English menu, but there are pictures which could act as acceptable guidance. The Ramen are a bit salty, but we are used to such kind of flavor and loved it. The service was fast. However, the waiters did not speak too much English, which made it hard... More

Came here after craving ramen on a cold winters day and using tripadvisor to see if there was anything. This lives up to the reviews! Great ramen, good selection of dishes and nice and warm inside. Would recommend to anyone coming to munich.

We went after hearing it makes the best Ramen in town, first time we could not get in because it was so crowded and the waiting line was endless... All excellent signs !) the actual experience was less breathtaking, a long wait for the food was ended by a slightly salty and slightly thin broth... We might have caught a... More

I'm not an out-and-out fan of Japanese, so my review might be somehow biased. I went twice to Takumi and had the same type of experience: first it is a quite popular restaurant (or i was unlucky and came twice at the bad time), so I had to wait for some 15 minutes in the cold entrance before getting a... Me and my girlfriend have here a very nice evening. It's not the classic posh sushi...it's a relaxing Japanese small restaurant...by nice Japanese people. Try it!

Well, I could go on about how much I love this place, but I prefer to give you the facts so you decide to go and try by yourself! The ramen here are AMAZING. Everything from the broth, the self made noodles and the fresh veggies is impressive. There is no way you won´t like it. It is not a... More

During recent Electronica Fair in Munich, we have visited with some colleagues the Takumi restaurant in Munich. It's just a small case, so you will have to have some patience when going there, as people are queuing outside... Also do not expect any sushi or tepanyaki, but typical Japanese noodle dishes/soups. It's a special experience, but really good food (although... More

Takumi is one of those places where they only do one thing - and they do it right! In this case, it's Japanese Ramen Noodle Soup. Authentic flair, only Japanese staff, Ramen noodles especially imported from Japan, a broth that simmers for at least 8 hours, all this contribute to a great experience. Start with the regular Ramen soups and... More
