Well, I could go on about how much I love this place, but I prefer to give you the facts so you decide to go and try by yourself! The ramen here are AMAZING. Everything from the broth, the self made noodles and the fresh veggies is impressive. There is no way you won´t like it. It is not a... More

During recent Electronica Fair in Munich, we have visited with some colleagues the Takumi restaurant in Munich. It's just a small case, so you will have to have some patience when going there, as people are queuing outside... Also do not expect any sushi or tepanyaki, but typical Japanese noodle dishes/soups. It's a special experience, but really good food (although... More

Takumi is one of those places where they only do one thing - and they do it right! In this case, it's Japanese Ramen Noodle Soup. Authentic flair, only Japanese staff, Ramen noodles especially imported from Japan, a broth that simmers for at least 8 hours, all this contribute to a great experience. Start with the regular Ramen soups and... More

Really good selection of quality Ramen. I go there frequently. If you have ever been to Japan, you have to try this Ramen. Nothing short of the real stuff. The waiters are all japanese and there is a good "Ramen shop atmosphere" Japanese music and Kirin beer do the rest. They also offer fabulous Karaage and Gyoza, although I would... More

I love ramen and I went there during my holiday in Munich. Ramen was great, low prices (9,80 to 13.00€ for a main dish), personal was careful and nice: it seemed to be in Japan. I'll be back there next time in Munich!

I went to this restaurant for the famous Japanese noodles in a Wednesday night. On Wednesday you can order the Gyoza for half prices, so it is pretty much crowded. I took a Ramen soup and a Gyoza: the service was very fast, but as for the food the deception was terrible. The taste of the soup was so salty... More

The ramen is really really good! Love the springy texture of the ramen noodles. Would have enjoyed it better if there was an aircon or at least a fan! The restaurant has an extremely poor ventilation and it was extremely unpleasant and horribly warm dining there. Their cold drinks are not that cold and they don't serve ice cubes. This... More

The ramen is fantastic, quite authentic. But watch out if you want to dine here during summer. There isn't air conditioning and it literally felt like you're eating hot noodle soup in the sauna! Way too warm!!!

I have met my Japanese friend here for lunch a few times now and we really enjoy it. I usually order the miso ramen (typical Japanese noodle soup), gyoza dumplings and rice set menu for 12.80€ (available weekdays). The soup and dumplings are really tasty. The service is friendly. The staff is predominantly Japanese. It's slightly expensive, but the quality... More
