Good Ramen

I had dinner here with my girlfriend, and since we are both fans of Ramen we loved the place. The only con i can think of is the amount of heat present in the restaurant, it seemed like the air conditioner was not working. An authentic Japanese Ramen restaurant does not make sushi, and this is the one that does not! They focus on Ramen only. Went there for a dinner, and the food is fantastic and reasonably priced. The service is good and the staff are friendly. Saw many Japanese customers there as well. We ordered two Ramen and both of them have... More

I was at Takumi on a Saturday, just after opening, and there was a short line of Japanese people waiting to get in, which I took as a good sign. Unfortunately lunch wasn't great: gyoza were greasy, and the ramen was quite salty. Thumbs up for portion size though! I thought that 25€ for gyoza, ramen, and water was a... More

Liked: authentic Japanese Ramen within Munich city. There's no English menu though, but if you are a ramen fan, you know what to order. The people in the restaurant do speak some English. Price is below EURO 20 for a bowl with add ons and 0.5 litre of beer! No so liked: The venue is small and if you come... More

In Takumi they only do one thing - and they do it right. Authentic flair, only Japanese staff, Ramen noodles especially imported from Japan. Japanese expats commings here for lunch or dinner. Lunch for 4, only Ramen soup and drinks cost us 60 EUR (Apr 2015). Space is not very big and be prepared to wait.

We loved the very original and no-frill experience and taste of all the dishes we tried. The Ramen were amongst the best I have ever had in Germany. Only downside: they take no reservations, but a short wait is well worth it.

Takumi is so far the best ramen restaurant in Munich. We visited there twice since we moved to Munich and so far its taste and quality have been satisfying. Staffs are friendly and fast, although they could be slower during weekend and when crowded. Their lunch set menu is absolutely value for money! But, honestly I find the one in... More

We had been to Takumi several times before. This was the first time this winter, though. The place still has it's particular charme and obviously still is very popular, attracting locals, travellers and expats. We went on a Wednesday evening (gyoza special price evening). The gyoza were good, but not outstanding and my ramen was also good, but not to... More

Had Miso Ramen and Shoyo Ramen at this restaurant. Unfortunately they don't have English menu, but there are pictures which could act as acceptable guidance. The Ramen are a bit salty, but we are used to such kind of flavor and loved it. The service was fast. However, the waiters did not speak too much English, which made it hard... More

Came here after craving ramen on a cold winters day and using tripadvisor to see if there was anything. This lives up to the reviews! Great ramen, good selection of dishes and nice and warm inside. Would recommend to anyone coming to munich.
