Warm and attractive way to start your day

This is a pleasant place to have coffee and cake and just relax. You will oogle all the other pastries you aren't going to be able to try. The cappucino and apple cake were a welcome treat on a cold morning. The establishment has another, more formal restaurant upstairs that wasn't open at 10 am... read more

Went there with some friends after sightseeing Munich. The place is not the easiest to find but definitely worth it! The service is quick and friendly and the coffee and cake deal is really good. They also have a good selection of iced coffees for those sunny summer days. What I liked most about the place is a really warm... More

Excellent food, great service and nice seating arrangement. Shame about the noise from ongoing construction but we had a fabulous time. Thank you.

We were visiting Munich, and visited the inner city for shopping. We felt in the mood for a hot chocolate, and stopped by this little cafe. It was very busy, but the drinks were okay....wait staff seemed very stressed out, but the hot chocolates were okay and the bathrooms were clean. A little pricey! Oh - NO WIFI! :-(

Been here quite a few times while in Munich over the last few years in Winter. Overall, I think the reviews so far are overly harsh. The food is good, service in our eyes was friendly and whilst the place is expensive compared to other places in Germany it is a tourist trap and about similar to what we'd pay... More

Had lunch for two people in the courtyard. Service was fine although the English skills of staff could have been better. Had a plate of spätzle and one of turkey schnitzels, plus two frankfurters as a snack. The food was good although the presentation was plain. Location is excellent and the interior decoration is quaint and with character.

This review relates to the outdoor service area in the middle of Marianplatz, not the indoor cafe part which might be quite different. We experienced an unhelpful and grumpy staff member as well as having to pay very high prices for nothing special. This is the first time that I have experienced indifferent service or attitude in an eating establishment... More

It is a little cafe in the middle of the main walking street, Kaufingerstr. We ordered a pot of tea for 5.10 euro. For this we received a small pot of water, a mug and a teabag. There was enough water for two cups of tea but when we asked for another mug we were told that was out of... More
