Highly recommend Mayers. Booked after reading trip adviser reviews. Faultless service, beautiful food and lovely wine. Also loved the rhubarb drink my 15 year old chose. This restaurant is well worth a visit.

Spotted this restaurant on Trip Advisor and decided to go. A UBahn and bus ride were really worth the journey. Delicious home made bread brought to table with pre dinner drinks. Staff really friendly. Presentation excellent. They spoke excellent English. I had the 4 fish selection served with spinach and purreed celleriac. The fish were Red Snapper, Wolf fish, Zander... If you are tired of the Classic German fare this is the place for you. Excellent friendly service with sophisticated preparation . Located on a quiet street about a 30 minute walk from the Bahnhof.

Ideal place for a (business) lunch in Schwanthalerhöhe. 3 course menu with soup/salat as a starter and fish/meat/pasta as a main course. Food is always good and tasty. Portions are not too big as usual in good restaurants. Service is nice as well. Highly recommended.

Our charismatic waiter lead us through a perfect meal. Suggesting a starter of salmon tartar with wonderful accompaniments and an excellent bottle of French wine he picked out for us. The wine paired with the meal perfectly which is not always easy to do with a variety of fish and pasta for entrees. I had the whole grilled dorado with... More

We visited this place based on reviews on Tripadvisor and it turned out to be a good choice. Staying at the nearby Hotel Bavaria, we wanted somewhere close by for the first night. The restaurant seems to be mostly visited by locals, which is as ever a good sign. As for cuisine, check out the website but it's basically standard... More

The food is truly delicious, the chef really knows their trade. I had a delicious veal dish, it was cooked to perfection. The restaurant is not too big and has a nice, modern but comfy atmosphere. Prices are as can be expected for a good restaurant in Munich, i.e. not cheap, but you get good quality. Can only recommend.

The restaurant was within walking distance of our hotel near the main railway station in a semi residential district. We arrived early so did not need a reservation. The waiter, an Italian, in perfect English described the menu dishes. I had broiled 'loupe de la mer', a trout like fish which was cooked to perfection. The service and presentation of... More

I've been here on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. The quality of food is just that little bit better with plenty of variety. The menu changes from week to week and there's always something that will appeal to you. You wont be short of a choice of wine either. It's a little bit pricier than your... More

We came across Mayers by chance, staying at the nearby Hotel Bavaria. I'm so very glad that we chanced upon it and decided to eat there. We asked for an English menu straight away but unfortunately, they did not have one. This was no problem though as our fantastic waiter took the time to translate and explain everything for us....
