We had a family lunch today at Einsteins for Mothers Day. We had a reservation made several weeks before. The welcome or greeting when we walked in to the restaurant was very luke warm, uninterested if we were there or not. The head waiter continued in this spirit; he was unfriendly and cold...perhaps some chip on his sholder? Some grudge... More

This was my first visit to Einstein and I arrived very late just before the kitchen closed. The staff were wonderful, having prepared food for us in advance and allowed us to stay in the restaurant until way after closing time. I returned the next day for dinner and have to say that this is certainly the best kosher restaurant... More

An exceptional combination of elegant cuisine with a home-like feeling. I had several fish dishes for lunch and dinner - among the best I have ever enjoyed anywhere! It was a Sunday, and appeared to be a community gathering place, which was heart-warming. The service was amazingly efficient, and the staff were as excited as I was about the cuisine.... More

Finding the restaurant was not easy as there is no big sign. but it was worth the search. The food was good, fresh, hot. We ordered the schnitzel with french fries and salad and it was excellent. Also the boiled brisket and potatoes was very good.

great mediterranean food in the heart of Munich. If you like humus, falafels, kebe and such that's definitely the place to go. The restaurant is inside the jewish cultural center and you need to pass through a security gate before you can get in. Service initially a bit distant but got way better throughout the lunch. Place is a bit... More

I have eaten at Einstein's more than 10 times over the past year, and the food is consistently excellent. The menu changes frequently and the main course are contemporary and sophisticated. As an aside, I often also have Einstein's meals delivered elsewhere in Munich and they do an excellent job delivering fresh, tasty, well plated kosher food. I travel extensively... More

We had a very lovely lunch at Einstein on a HOT afternoon in Munich! The waitress was very sweet and the service was pretty quick. Our kids both ordered the chicken schnitzel and it was huge!! It came with fries and a salad. Hubby and I shared an app - and an entree. I don't remember exactly which was which... More

Elegant modern space with food that tastes as good as the dining room looks. The menu is mixed, like the clientele. Tourists who come for a taste of Jewish food after visiting the nearby Jewish museum will not be disappointed. There is a set menu featuring, for example, Israeli appetizer salads with fresh, warm pita bread. The salads are exceptionally... More

An incredibly good venue. The service was triple A, the food selection was varied and very tasty. The wine menu was varied and very good indeed. Its a specious restaurant. Highly recommended from all aspects.

If you want a break from noisy Bavarian pubs and restaurants, give Einstein a go. It is well worth the short walk from Marianplatz. There were only a few people when I was there so the atmosphere was quite and relaxed. However as it is a relative large restaurant with plenty if space between tables so it does not give... More
