Not the Hofbrauhaus! Which is good!

Enjoyed dinner here on a weeknight. Surrounded by Germans we were the only tourists in sight. For just over 30 euros we enjoyed two large Augustiner Hell As beers, a serve of the roast pork and the Bavarian Meat platter. So much food, and it is extremely rich Don't over order or you will not... read more

What a Bavarian experience! We went to eat there two times during our short trip to Munich and loved it both times. Fantastic beer, great food and a typical ambiance! Must go"

We were introduced to this restaurant via our tour guide. This is where a lot of the locals go due to their great prices. I would have to say that this is my favorite beer hall in Munich. Augustiner beer is my favorite and this is the place to go. This is part of the brewery and it's a fairly... More

Great ambiance and a part of the brewery which covers the whole block. Friendly, lots of large tables and just take a seat with some locals if you don't have a big group. You must make reservations if you are a big group no matter what time of day. The place is popular especially on weekends. Service: outstanding. Food: phenomenal.... More

I'm not a very good fan of the wurst but this Augustiner Braustuben is very beautiful to eat... very tasty feeling when you eat this meal and you should try it.

This is probably my favorite beer hall of all. It lacks the flair of some of the big, well-known ones but gains points in quality and ambiance. From the outside you would think this is a hole in the wall pub. Upon entry, it opens as if some magical spell has expanded the place to 10 times the size. Chickens... More

This is a very late review. We visited in September 2010 and only just realised that I hadn't reviewed. What a place! We first visited at 6.30pm on a Tuesday and it was absolutely packed. The beer is some of the best we have ever tasted, and a good price too. We returned the following night for a few more... More

It was our fist night in Munich and it was a Sunday, many places were closed. We picked this one on Yelp and it turned out to be very close to our hotel. Again make sure you have reservation because we did not but we got a table and they said we have 2 hours to eat, which was fine.... More

After arriving at the hotel we were starving and the staff suggested we try this place. Wasn't disappointed! The food was good and plenty and the prices were average. Being satisfied with it we went the next evening but it was way too crowded and we had to "fight" for a table.

One of the best places to go to for an authentic Bavarian dinner and lots of cheap home brewed beer! We had a huge dinner for a decent price. However the waiters were too busy and a little unfriendly, practically tipping himself and getting angry at my friend who decided not to tip.
