Best apple strudel ever!

You have to order beers of course, but please don't forget to order the apple strudel... It's one of the things that you should eat before die!

It seems every restaurant you walk into is a magnificent building in a very good looking city. This restaurant is no exception. The food was nice without being brilliant but others who had the selection of meats with the pork knuckle enjoyed it very much. I had the sausages which was to be expected. The waiter on a couple of... More

First of all the waitress told us to find our own table because you pretty much have to seat yourself, then she came back with menu for us. She just throw it in front of us and walked away. So we were stocked with unfriendly service but when she came back again and asked us about what we would like... More

This place was opposite our hostel so we booked a table for our evening meal after having a few pints the night before. We were shown to our table in the huge beer hall, I think it was a Friday night so the place was buzzing with families and stag do's. We ordered our drinks, steins of course, the beer... More

On entry normally you wait to be seated except we got a gesture advising us to use our eyes to find a place to sit in the busy restaurant. No worries! Food was a little disappointing. Beef goulash with potato was very salty and half a pork knuckle with dumpling and sauerkraut was dry, and the crackling chewy. At least... More

I only had an overnight stay in Munich, and locals steered me here. This was everything I wanted from Bavaria - a huge, loud, warm and friendly beer hall with great service, amazing beer and equally wonderful food. I washed down a sampler plate ( roast duck, sausages, pig knuckle and roast pork with gravy, a potato dumpling and red... More

The best truly traditional beer hall in Munich. It's a little bit of a walk from the pedestrian streets in the old town but it's worth the effort. Excellent beer and great atmosphere. Huge meals and much better value than in the centre of town. Locals say Augustiner is the best of the local beers. It's certainly one of the... More

An excellent venue to have a meal and soak up the atmosphere of this historic venue. The menu is offered in multiple languages, so don't worry if can't speak German. They have their own butcher, so the meat dishes is both special and unique, and the selections are diverse and if you can't find something to your liking, then go... More

We came here for dinner and especially first German sausage in Germany. We got various type of sausages and that was interesting. The restaurant locates on the shopping street which easy to find.
