Great fun & atmosphere!!

Had lunch and a few steins with mates. Big food selection and fine beer of course. You won't be disappointed at all. I had the pork knuckle and was well full afterwards! If there weren't so many beer halls to try as well, we'd definitely go back

This is the centuries old Brewery of Augustiner and the BrauStuben is part of the huge complex. Good food, fresh Draught beer, in a very large old beer hall. Beer prices are quite reasonable though this is off the beaten path. Take the 19 tram or just about any U or S Bahn that routes via the Hauptbahnhof. Though it... More

Have been there twice now and found the food and beer to be fantastic both times. Also great 'beer hall' atmosphere. Well worth a visit especially if you are staying in meiniger across the road.

We randomly picked this restaurant in Munich with my boyfriend as most of the other places are closed on Sundays. We had lunch, which was typical Bavarian food including the famous Weisswurst and a good beer. Service was impeccable and surprisingly quick. The restaurant also has a beer house connected to it, worth trying out if you wish to get... More

Nothing more than tipical bavarian restaurant. Quick service and gentle people. The food is not reaĺly light. The bread must be paied and this is not normal to me.

Waiter was particularly very kind and helpful although I can't speak german. Best to come early to get your seats. So many people over the weekends! Food was great, beer was too.

Enjoyed a super leg of pork with crispy crackling and surrounded by tasty gravy. Together with a wheat beer this was paradise.

A really nice restaurant, with typical Bavarian food and beer! The prices are normal and the beer always fresh and delicious... We will revisit soon!

I visit 2-3 times Munich every year and I always go to Augustiner Braustuben. Beer costs only EUR 2.65 for half liter and the food prices are cost-efficient as well. It is very popular for local people and tourists. So if you are coming with a group it is much better to make a reservation. Don't forget to say "Prosit"... More

Ok...by writing this I am afraid that this place will eventually be taken over by mad tourists...however, it is worth it to share how great this place is for Bavarian Beer Hall Food. I have been here a half dozen times, and have always had a great experience. This is also the next to the home of the Augustiner Brewery;... More
