Stumbled upon this place staying across the road at Laimer Hof Hotel. Quite possibly the best all-round meal and service anywhere, ever. You know it will be a good feed when locals travel across Munich to eat here. French cuisine to exacting German standards. There is nothing to dislike about this place. Track it down and you will not be... More

The server was clearly annoyed by the fact that we were not German. Everyone else around us was efficiently served, while it took us 45 minutes to get something to drink. We were quiet and patient and treated disrespectfully in return, including never getting our appetizer. This was not our overall experience in Munich. Food, once it arrived, was good... More

Pleasant dinner near by our hotel. Sat inside was a little slow on the service but we were in no rush.

My girlfriend and I were staying at the Laimer Hof hotel and Yelped some places to have dinner. The hotel is located in a residential neighborhood, but there are some restaurants within walking distance, including La Brasserie. We walked by a few before deciding we didn't want to go any further on a cold February night, and picked La Brasserie... More

Terrific neighborhood restaurant with lots of charm and wonderful food. Our service person, I believe he was actually spanish, was not only very attentive but knowledgeable and entertaining. Food was excellent including wonderful escargots, and terrific steak and frites. Highly recommend, especially if you're staying at Laimer Hof hotel - our favorite lodging in Munich.

We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of our nearby hotel (Hotel Kriemhild which I rated very high) planning on just one French meal in this very Bavarian city. It was so good, we went back another 2 evenings. The service was very good, even on our last visit which was the night of the Germany football championship. The... More

This restaurant was a only a few steps from our hotel (Hotel Laimer Hof) and is equally close to the Nymphenburg Palace. Excellent service; wonderful presentation; and fantastic food. Slightly on the pricey side but worth it.

Be advised that the menu is only in German and that little English is spoken, but with friendly staff it is fun to order and get a little surprised. The food is excellent. The salads were fresh and appealing. We had the quiche, the lamb with ratatouille, and veal. All were well prepared and wonderful!

We stayed in a hotel in the area, but this restaurant is definitely worth coming out of the city centre for. Food was high quality and amazingly tasty. Atmosphere was lovely and service was good. Could not recommend this place enough!!!

It was late and we were guests at the hotel Laimer Hof. This restaurant was down the street and opened til midnight. I peeked in the window and there was diners. Good sign! Stephen and I walked around the neighborhood, checking out the other restaurants. We ultimately decided on this one because the menu had things we would like. Upon... More
