La Brasserie is a small not pretending restaurant. Food is wonderful and the service is individual and special for each table. With a smile they recomed you the best wine for your meal. Perfect prices for Munich. Perfect place to be between locals and catch some German gossiping.

What a lovely little restaurant this is! We had a superb meal here and the service was super. The atmosphere was great too - lovely and informal. Certainly recommend.

Four of us dined here twice during our week stay in munich (staying at the very nearby Laimer Hoff Hotel) including our final evening in the city and what a gem! I have the duck listed on the specials board. It was cokked exactly how I like it and tasted devine. The service and atmosphere was a delight and reasonably... More

Everything was good on the menu. Went 2 times in 1 week. Last time had poor wait staff service. Forgot my orders. Would not return my change after paying. Food was great though

Found this little french gem when biking pass it on my way to Nymphenburg castle. Quaint little summer terrace, friendly service and wonderful food. They have many variations of tarte flambeé, from the classic sour cream, onions and bacon or chantarella mushroom, cheese & pesto or peaches and scamorza.....by now I have been there several times and have tried all... Last night in Munich stumbled upon this neighborhood gem. No reservation but they found a way to accommodate us in full house. Charming lively crowd filled inside. Service casual very friendly, fun and helpful. Had trout stuffed with spinach and apple. Literally melt in my mouth. Great inexpensive wine selection. Carpachio fabulous. After dinner cognac, their own a must try.... More

After eating here, many other places seem so mediocre. The food is so good, however, that I find myself trying too many things and consuming more than I should.

La Basserie is a small restaurant in a residential neighborhood a couple of blocks from Nymphenburg Palace and close to Hotel Laimer Hof where we were staying. Another guest at the hotel recommended it and I agree. The service was fabulous and the food was excellent. Our entrees were grilled whole boneless trout (Forelle im Ganzen vom Grill) and steak... Right down the street from our Hotel. Nice setting in the neighborhood. Nice patio. And the Food was delicious . Each of us got something different & we all raved about our choices! Plus the Dessert! Wish we had eaten there sooner in trip!

My wife and I dined here in October 2010 ( I just found my notes from out trip) and it was incredibly. Hotel Laimer Hof recommended it and and we weren't disappointed. Everyone was friendly. We stopped in for desert and wine and were amazed at how delicious everything was. I think we drank 2 or 3 bottles of wine... More
