On a perfect-weather day, it was nice to make the short detour away from our bike ride along the Isar River to have lunch in this biergarten. Service was professional and punctual. The setting outside was pleasant and fairly tranquil. Local specialties, especially from the...More
This wonderful restaurant is set in beautiful surroundings, very quiet but still full of atmosphere. The service and food was excellent with a great choice. Would not hesitate to return and would most definite recommend this establishment to anyone.
Had lunch on a weekday afternoon ... it was just about empty but it was mid-week in January when most restaurants and hotels are slow. Ambiance is plenty oldy-worldy with a modern touch; it's a place to see and be seen in Munich, the clientele...More

The restaurant serves several typical bavarian dishes. The food is very tasty and the service is really good. They also serve locak beer at very reasonable prices. There is parking just outside the restaurant.
This is a lovely place with beautiful surroundings, where you can enjoy a nice drink sitting on the terrace. If you want to eat, perhaps there are better places, but for something small and nothing so special this will do ok.
you do not belive to be more or less in the middle of munich. The way to the Beergarden and restaurant leads to a nice surrounding with green fields, trees and cows. You end up in a very scenic not so big beer garden with...More

No, do not panic, it is not Schweinaxe in Curry sauce, or Leberknudelsoup with cream and strawberries... The menu offers a great Bavarian selection as well as other great international dishes such as Steak Tartar, Vegetable Curry, and other pleasantries. So perfect to mix several...More

It is a typical beer garden with many tables outside under large trees. The atmosphere is relaxing especially when the sun is shining. The food, Bavarian (big chunks of meat served on the bone, potatoes etc), served in large portions is average and over-priced. A...More
Nothing to complain about. Not gourmet, predictable cuisine, but no negatives. Hard to reach by car.
had dinner here several times during multiple summers. this is a typical german Biergarten restaurant, good beer, meat and food in general. staff is friendly, and service is good. the location is beautiful, and you can take a nice walk before / after dinner in...More
