Nice atmosphere, delicious food, but no English menu, no English speaking staff. . The interior is wooden, we were there when it was cold, so it's a winter wonderland. .

Food good quality-to-price and quickly service. You can find german food and from other cultures. The waiters were friendly but the local could be more hygienic.
We visited this restaurant because someone recommended it to us. The food was great and the portions are good!! We had 3 different plates to share and try. Great service and the food was ready very quick. They do not have a menu in english.
I chose this restaurant after walking by and watching the people inside enjoying their meals. It is a friendly, relaxed place with simple but excellent food, especially the grilled meats and salads. Beer and wine no complaints either! Liked it so much we came back...again during our visit, after experiencing some of the other heavy options elsewhere. Service was quick and friendly also.More
Discovered this gem searching for a diiferent restaurant. Truly a German restaurant. Menus are in German, but we got along ok with the help of or server. My wife order a salad we shared. Tomato, lettuce, cucumbers , and of course, cabbage. I am not sure...what he dressing was, but it was delicious. My wife’s lightly breaded Wiener Schnitzels was huge, tasty, and tender. My Veal Cordon Blu was similar with the light breading. A great blending of flavors with the veal, ham , and cheese A must try!More
My husband and I had lunch at Opatija following a recommendation from our tour guide. It did not disappoint! I had the Schitzel “Weiner Art” and my husband had the Orignal Salzburger “Bosna”. Both meals were delicious and the portions were generous. We would dine...here again!More
Everything is great, verry nice restaurant, cosy atmosphere, excellent meals, and the stuff is so polite.
I visited this restaurant twice when I was in Munich for work. The service was very quick and efficient. The English spoken by the staff was great and they also had a n English menu. The food was excellent and the beer was chilled and...fresh. Would highly recommendMore
Nice!!!!! People so kind, excellent beer, delicious food. Price- food 10/10. Well located, several options.
Nice atmosphere , crowded location, you may fond here tasty traditional croatian food beside traditional german food combined with good beer. I recommend you to try Pleskovica
Always ate here on our visits to Munich. Walked in the other night and saw big change...revamp of layout which was nice, new menu which was not as comprehensive as the old one...started to wonder if it was new owners....ordered Holzfäller steak with chips which...came in reasonable time....very disappointed...three pieces of grisly pork.. on a bed of grease and gravy with some chips, ....a quarter piece of small tomato and a piece of lettuce leaf was the salad offering. Not a patch on the old Opatija. Won’t be returning.More
Reasonable prices, delicious dishes, rapid service and warm atmosphere... Really love this place. Strongly recommended!!! You must try!
I'm not one to write reviews, but promised myself I would for this place. The food was great, large servings. However I have not ever experienced such horrible customer service than from our waiter. Having worked in hospitality, if I had treated customers the way...in which he did, I'd imagined I'd be fired on the spot. This man obviously was not happy in the job he had. Upon ordering, he literally told us to 'hurry up' and 'chop chop'. After our food was practically plonked in front of us, not even a 'enjoy your meal' as he walked off. Not even what felt like 5 minutes after finishing our meals, some of us still eating he gave us the bill. This hospitality was shocking, and we felt unwelcomed and pressured to leave, felt hurried by his behaviour. We then proceeded to stay 3 hours just to piss him off. This man honestly should find another job where he doesn't come face to face contact with people. Nevertheless, great food and location.More
Difficult to score this restaurant. The atmosphere is ok, the service was ok (certainly for ordering) but the food quality varied greatly. We both wanted to try some of the Croation dishes; I chose the 'kleine Pljeskavica' and my wife tried the 'Raznjici' Despite the...title, the Pljeskavica is not that small!! I managed to eat it all but certainly wouldn't want it any bigger. It was perfectly cooked, bags of flavour, tender meat and the plnety of melted cheese stuffing. Also thoroughly enjoyed the the Djuvec rice - perfectly and nicely spiced. Unfortunately, my wife's Raznjici (pork on a skewer) was very fatty, lots of gristle and so tough, she had to leave most it. If we had not been having a sociable meal with friends, she would have sent it back. Trying to get the bill and also pay the bill took some time depspite the fact the restaurant was not busy. Perhaps the Raznjici was just a one-off bad batch? We both agreed we would possibly try the restaurant again but my wife would most likely try a different dish!More
