Dined in this restaurant on three different occasions and enjoyed all three meals. The apple strudel is excellent with vanilla ice cream. The service was friendly and superb.

With the exception of the Jaeger Schnitzel, we enjoyed the food there. The Jaeger Schnitzel was too thick and the sauce didn't have much flavor.

It was fine. The Wienerschnitzel was typical with french fries. My husband actually had the chicken and rice and it was good. It seems like the restaurants all serve the same stuff. It was uneventful and fine.

The hotel is centrally located within Hohenschwangau. The ticket center for the castle is right next to the hotel. Rooms are basic and quite small but offer nice balconies where you can enjoy the view. The restaurant is also quite good and offers typical bavarian food. A good place to stay and eat when visiting the attractions.

We dropped by for lunch on the terrace after a hike up the hill to see the castle. We all enjoyed our meals which included Goulash soup, farmers plate & bratwurst served with typical Bavarian accompaniments of potato salad and sauerkraut. The waiting staff worse traditional dirndl outfits and were friendly and efficient with service. Prices not bad considering what... More

We went straight from tea to dinner because we couldn't walk back to our hotel in the torrential rain. The food was fine but not memorable until some other restaurants on our trip but then it wasn't terribly expensive

We enjoyed our typical Bavarian meal and dessert; especially the dessert and coffee. Service was first rate.

WOW - the crowds come in when the castle was open, but when the castle closes, we have the this little beautiful street to ourselves! We stayed here for 3 nights - and so glad we did! The castle is the tourist attraction but you can experience the real beauty of the spot only if you stay here. We walked... More

We spent the day, with hundreds of other tourists, visiting the local Neuschwanstein castle. This is located in the little Schwangau village, and is on the main strip of shops and restaurants. It was extremely cold (high 30s F) for May, so we had the asparagus soup and tomato soup with tea and rum. The soups were quite good, and... More
