If you are near the area and want to try some traditional food from Franken and you like the traditional atmosphere of the restaurant, then this is the place. Very friendly service, big variety at the menu to choose from, big and tasty portions and normal prices. Definitely try schäufele and schnitzel.

A great local restaurant with some famous dishes. Ideal place for a family meal but if you are not from Erlangen it is far off the beaten track about 2KMs from the centre but worth the journey if you want the 'real thing' without paying too much. It is always hectic and busy which is part of the charm.

You get what you pay for, prices are cheap. If you have a big appetite, low budget, don't much care for flavor or other organoleptic standards and have transport, than by all means go. BUT, schnitzel is huge and greasy, potato salad a paste and sweetish, salad limp. Beer's good. Atmosphere you will have to bring with you. The "Beer... More

I've been there the 1st time almost 2 years back just because I saw a friends picture eating the biggest schnitzel I'd ever seen. I thought it was worth a try but was not expecting they'd be so good! I've been a regular customer until today and all the friends and family we've taken there loved the food. If you're... More
