Real pub atmosphere, great food for decent prices and all kinds of people!

Whether the typical German Stammtisch, students, couples, families... This place just suits everybody. It's a rather old place with a never changing charme. Staff is very helpful (speak English too) but a bit "confused" once in a while. Food is great and they have great variety, coming from wraps... read more

Run by Scots this place is one of the Top Pubs in Coburg. Food is good, prizes are ok and if the weather is fine it is a pleasure to ist in the beergarden!

The Hungry Highlander is a gem - good food, reasonable prices and a great atmosphere. It appeals to everyone apparently - family groups, students, daters, etc. It is not quiet. The emphasis is on FUN, even for the staff. Hurrah for the Scot who established it. We'd return anytime!

Here the food is great, particularly the curries and the wraps. The staff is fast and very friendly if not always very organised - even willing to speak English. The general atmosphere is probably the closest you will get to a Scottish pub in Germany.
