Nice surprise and not typical German style, both food and service made us smile. We were warmly taken care of. A good place if you want to avoid tourist trap

We were told Koch's was the best restaurant in town and we were up for a change from the classic Bavarian food we had been eating for the past few days. We arrived early so there was a good choice of tables; we chose to sit outside as it was a nice evening. The wine list wasn't extensive but we... More

Happened upon the most amazing Resturant while staying in Garmish-Partenkirchen. The food was delicious, and excellent service. The passion of the owner and chef is palpable thorough the comfortable atmosphere and delicious food. Only disappointment was finding this treasure on out last night!

We went to this restaurant on the last night of our holiday and boy did we make a mistake, we should have gone sooner so we could have gone more times. Though the menu was in German the waitress spent time with us to translate and explain the menu. We had the most stunning meal and at an exceptionally good... More

We visited this restaurant because it was advertised onTrip Advisor as one of the best in this area. We were not disappointed! What a pleasant evening on their back terrace. Excellent food dishes prepared with artistic flair! I had a rhubarb-proseco cocktail which was surprisingly delicious. The mushroom soup, with bacon and onion, was smooth and flavorful. My generous portion... More

This family run understated restaurant has food to rival anything a big city might offer. International menu with some unexpected options like the Octopus Carpaccio. We went for the more traditional choices but were not disappointed. Everything fresh and made on the premises. Delightful service. Excellent choice of Schnapps if the wine alone is not sufficient.

This is a hidden treasure. The owners really have passion for what they do. Outstanding quality. Carpacio of Octopus was unbeleivable good, as all other dishes. Small but well balanced menu. Wine list is a bit limited.

We really enjoyed eating here. The food is fresh and prepared well. The owners are young and make every effort to create a great atmosphere. We had fish and it was really really good! Highly recommended if you are in Garmisch.

WE enjoyed a lot of good dinner experiences in Garmisch, but the best experience we had at Koch's. Food, Service, Ambience, Attention to details, you name it, First class! If you're visiting Garmisch, Koch's is a must to visit.

Once again another first class meal. Service, food and ambience all 5 stars. Menu changes regularly to ensure the best seasonal dishes. Pumpkin soup with bacon was the best ever. Entrees were well prepared with creative use of seasonal ingredients. Excellent wine menu. What really makes this place special is it is small family run with attention to all details.... More
