Lately the service and the food have gotten worse. One time they got our order wrong and when confronted they got nervous and actually tried to convince us that I got a bad memory and don't remember what I ordered. Two other times they just mixed our orders but then reacted positively in order to correct the problem. The main... More

This was my first time at this restaurant with friends who are locals. We were not disappointed as the food was delicious and a good price. Close to the main car park and square we were able wander before nod after the meal.

It's a biggish place on the bottom floor of the town hall (so very central), with arched ceilings and lots and lots of tables. I had the impression it was meant as somewhere where anybody in town, people in for work, people just shopping, whatever, could get a decent meal at a decent price. It isn't very expensive, anyway. the food is ok, price is acceptable, but this is nothing special. You can defenetly do better in Ulm, for traditional swabian food.

The Ratskeller is perfect place to go when one wants some local simple Swabian food. Don't expect fancy sophisticated food and avoid ordering the higher end dishes on the menu. If you want Sausages, Linsen mit Spätze (lentils with Swabian noodles), Maultaschen (local dumplings) and other plain fare food, Ratskeller is perfect for you. And the beer tastes amazing :)

Went for Sunday lunch and had to wait for ages to be served followed by nearly 1hr wait for my partners food. Waited much longer for my food to arrive by which time my partner had eaten hers! The steak was dry and chewy. My partners pork was the same! Shame as the space itself is quite unique. Will not... More

We picked this restaurant based upon Tripadvisor for dinner. The location is really beautiful, we sat outside, located directly in the Fussgaengerzone. We had a traditional dinner of Schnitzel (2 plates) and the Schweinebraten in dark beer sauce. The food was very good and plentiful. unfortunately the young waitresses were not very friendly, to say the least. My son called one... More

The exterior of the restaurant gives you the impression this is a typical old building similar to the Ratskeller in Munich, but the interior is very modern, airy, and beautifully furnished. An outside beer garden to the rear looks over to the riverside area of the Donau. We had a traditionl bavarian meal comprising beef and red cabbage which was... More

The interior of the old town hall is where the resturant is located and the setting simple but nice, the service was fast and friendly. The food was well cooked and very nice. We wished we could have gone back again it was very nice.
