Description: Once there was a monastry of the so called "Barfüßer" monks....
Once there was a monastry of the so called "Barfüßer" monks. Since 1990 there is the Barfüßer craft brewery at almost the same place in Ulm. Even if you will not meet any monks anymore, you can come to hear imposing voices, giving songs from the 80ies, 90ies, and from today via the every tuesday karaoke evenings. Alternatively guests can also enjoy the delicious Barfüßer beer in the snuggery or at the terrace amid the inner-city of Ulm.

Nice place and great food and bier!

I can highly recommend Ganze knusprig gegrillte Schweinshax'n and local bier. Food and bier are comming on your table very quick, so you should be not afraid you die from thirst and hunger!

Nothing much to say about this restaurant. The food was good, but not above average and the portion quite big. Service was excellent, but you have to find your way to a table. The atmosphere was a bit of a let down as I was expecting the restaurant to be located in an old brewery, but it is all fake,... More

Had to show off the delicious beer... got it served by a fast and friendly service together with delicious Schweinebraten (pork roast) / Schweinerückensteaks with plenty of onions. Clean, functional, with various seating possibilities. We sat at a very nice booth in the center but there are also larger tables available. Very good prices considering the size of the servings... I had a couple of hours to spare in Ulm last week , so, on the basis of Tripadvisor recommendations, I decided to go here for dinner. Bad decision. Ok the beer is very tasty. The food is pretty run-of-the mill but edible. But rarely have I experienced such bad service. It was early evening and the place was almost... More

Nice restaurant near the Cathedral. It's located at a down slope. Go for the roasted pork knuckle, worth the try.

Great service, great food and great beer. As a vegetarian I had the baked potato with salad and it was really good. My husband got the lasagna and liked it a lot. You can take beer to go which is awesome.
