I've been to Weinstube Frölich several times in the past 5 years, and I always had top notch food, wine and service. The atmosphere is warm (I prefer the tables in the wooden room) and the staff and owners very friendly and accommodating. The food is always fresh and delicious. By far the best maultaschen I've ever had as well... More

I soent a few really great evenoing in this place a few years back. Therefore I was thoroughly disappointed when I went there lately. The service was unwelcoming, unfriendly and "nop" was the standard answer for our requests. Very disappointing. Plus, the food was mediocre and not at all up to the standard I had got to know a few... More

We went to this restaurant according to the alert of one German friend Who lives here in Stuttgart. We phoned in the afternoon reserving a table. At arriving, we have been wellcomed with "Marina? Ahhh Marina... 5 minutes ready..." A part of the restaurant is very nice, but we are directed to a table, already occupied by other persons, close... More

Situated in the middle of Stuttgart´s red light district .... but don´t be put off. A client wanted to visit this traditional Swabian restaurant with a modern feeling, as he was friends with the boss. We weren´t disappointed. Not only was the service excellent, but the food - and we were given specific instructions by the boss - was first... More

Lovely, quiet, quaint and unexpected building right in the middle of the red light district. Very tasty traditional German food and drinks from the region, courteous staff.

The Maultaschen in this restaurant are heaven. Being German myself but not Swabian I do not care too much about Maultaschen but these are super yummy in both the broth and fried with egg.

Not far from City Centre, the Weinstube is a very nice place with a beautiful garden. Food was very good quality and taste; suggest to try the Maultaschen. Not the cheapest restaurant in Stuttgart, but it deserves a visit!

Attendant can speak fluent English while they are not proactive in showing what are the signature dishes. However, they are full of hospitality when you broke the ice. My food ordered didn't come for more than 40mins, and apparently my order was misplaced. I was offered a cheese plata from the house as a compensation and his service level is... More

If you want a local meal with international flare, come here. Food was excellent, service was wonderful as was the wine. Restaurant is open late with full menu which is rare in this city. Plenty of energy yet a casual no worries place to enjoy a long meal with good friends including the staff. All food recommendations were outstanding and... More

One of the best places to get schwabian food. A little more expensive. The serve also very good wine. It is in the middle of the red light district (what ever that means in Stuttgart!).
