Great beer, generous food portions

Dined here on Monday 13/4/15. The beer was excellent and we enjoyed the Sophie's Platter for two persons (18.95 euros per person not per platter as we thought) even though it would have comfortably fed a family of four and we couldn't finish it. However, I was glad we had finished our meal before... read more

What a fantastic place, the Swabian food was amazing. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The beer is to die for, nice having a brewery on site.

The best cheese spatzle I've had yet since living in Germany for almost 2 years... The food was excellent... We tried a duo sampler platter (pan dish) for 2 and there was enough food for easily 4 people. The schwarzbier was delicious... it was bubbly, but not overly carbonated... very smooth after taste... Wait staff were super friendly and everyone... More

We went in Sophie Brauhaus just to have a beer and relax a little bit. We were a group of 15 people and everyone of us took a beer. The beer was pretty good, but the waiter continuously came and told us to be silent (it was 10 pm and we were just speaking with each other, not screaming, not... More

We stayed in Stuttgart and visited Sophie's Brauhaus several times. The service and welcome was great, the food was fab with no small portions! As for the beer, wunderbar. Booking a table wasn't an issue, but definitely recommend!

It was very clean and pleasant. The food was good with large portions. But the home brewed bears were great!

Visited in may 2013 in the late afternoon. Quite close to the main drag of Stuttgart. Nice wooden belle epoque interior. Sparsely crowded. Quite quick and friendly efficient staff. Decent menu card with various information about brewing, historical facts etc. 3.50 Euro for a 40cl Helles, 3.80 Euro for a Schwarzbier. Only paid 4 Euros for both for some reason.

I went with a group to Sophie's for dinner, and it was terrific. The beer was very good; it is hard to go wrong with freshly brewed beer, but they did an excellent job with the dominant German beer styles. The food was also very good; I had a schnitzel with hot sauce, and it was just as good as... More

This place is great for meeting up with friends for a pitcher or two of their house-brewed Hefeweizen and Flammekuchen (large pizza-like flat bread) to share! They have good service and a great bar atmosphere with music, low lighting, and steel tanks (that that use to brew their beer) out in the open. My friends and I were there for... More

Right in the city center, this restaurant serves homemade beer, which is quite tasty, and typical german dishes (and also other nationalities). Their portions are big and the price is in accordance to it. Good idea to go for a happy hour.
