We were in a group of 8 in this restaurant, which has a very nice place and offers a cozy atmosphere. Menu and dishes reflect local and regional cuisine: what you eat is awful! However I was very deceived by the service: the waitress was definitely unfriendly and looked like she couldn't stand us. She forgot one order than she... More

This place is really nice. They got good food, a nice atmosphere, and a very nice place to sit outside. I would absolutly recommend this place for others. Even if it was in "prime time" we managed to get a table quite soon after arriving.

When the weather is nice, people are out and about, the beer is flowing and the food is delicious, what is left to critique? Maybe we could say that we had to wait a few minutes to find a table with an opening to sit, seemingly because the beer garden is so popular. That's about it. Previous positive reviews seem... More

This restaurant and beer garden is a 20 minute or so walk from Kelley Barracks, and also from Plieningen. It is a wonderful place to spend the summer evenings after a walk in the beautiful botanical gardens across the street. I came here alone and with friends several times. The "Dinette" is similar to a Flammenkuchen, a thin and light... More

Benches and chairs under a canopy of green leaves makes Garbe the ideal place to enjoy a cool beer on a spring day. The beer is served out of water chilled 'stone' tankards from an outside counter whilst waitresses flit around serving the house specialty: flammkuchen in various flavours. For those who have not tried it it is an experience... More

On a business trip to Stuttgart, a colleague and myself were holed up in the Mercure Hotel at Stuttgart Messe (see my review on how that was) with nowhere to eat within walking distance. Took a taxi to this place one night and we were both very impressed. Lovely place, very warm and cosy with friendly staff that spoke excellent... More

Dinnette is their version of pizza but instead of tomato paste, they used sour cream, and it is sooooo delicious! Really in love with the German pizza. We also tried the other Swabian (their region) dish, maultaschen - which was somewhat like a big ravioli, which is quite good too.

This restaurant is one of my favorite in Stuttgart. When I crave for good German/Local food, I always go there. Great service and atmosphere. It is a perfect place for a romantic date or a party with big group of people.

Try any dinette or the platter of hand cut ham with bread, pickles, and Parmesan. The biergarten in summer is cool and relaxing under the cover of chestnut trees. Be sure to make a reservation if you want to sit and eat after 7:00 pm

The environment was really nice, and the food was amazing. We ordered as a main course the Gänsebrust (It was fantastic), and then for dessert (i think it was called "chocko koko") it was out of this world. The pries is reasonable, for two people the bill was 52 euro. I really recommend this Restaurant. Ill be going there again... More
