Great soup and salads; main courses were better in the past....

Good food, but somehow it was better in the past. The soup tom kha gai and tom yum are delicious; the salads are also exceptionally good (e.g. papaya salad; beef salad...). Unfortunately my main course (duck) was a pre-heated duck, which tasted quite old and hard; but the vegetables and spices were... read more

If you are into Thai, this place is perfect for you. They have a wide variety to choose from, including cocktails! They setting is cute and cozy. Perfect for having a nice dinner, maybe a couple if drinks and then hit Stuttgart's nightlife, since the restaurant is located in one of the main bar/club area.

Our hotel suggested the Floating Market. One never knows with Thai, but this was a pleasant surprise. The service was thoughtful and friendly. The soups were spectacularly fresh and spicy and the pad Thai also wonderful. The restaurant also has great fresh flowers throughout its multiple levels. Recommend, and will return when in Stuttgart!

This Thai restaurant came highly recommended by a dear friend but I was very disappointed with the dishes. I ordered the duck in red curry, which is one of my favourite regulars at Thai restaurants, but I was quite disappointed with this. It tasted flat, and uninteresting. The tom yum soup (with prawns) had 2 prawns, which is very few... More

We were seated immediately without reservations on a Saturday night. We were told that we would need to vacate the table in two hours which wasn't going to be a problem. The staff was extremely courteous and service was pretty quick. The pad Thai was just ok since it had a strange fishy taste but the rest of the dishes... More

When you're entering the restaurant or take Peak look from outside it is not inviting but the food and downstairs style pays off. all had been excited with their choice - just missing papaya salad...

OK, Stuttgart is clearly not a place with a strong Asian food scene. Still, eating heavy local German fare just didnt appeal to me. I listened to the concierge of my hotel and ventured to discover Floating Market. Portrait of their Royal Highness as you arrive tells you this is an establishment with/managed by Thais- a great sign- I was... More

I went with a small group, just a party of 5, and several of us got the menu. When the food arrived they had no idea who got what and it took getting the menu back out to figure it out! The dish described was not what was brought to me. Several of us got vegetarian menus even though we... More

Had dinner here with my wife. Beautiful decor and good service. friendly staff. The food is mediocre. do not get the fish cakes, they are not freshly made and are just deep fried frozen version. The vegetable fritters are poor- the batter lacks any flavour. We had curries and they both lacked flavour and seasoning. Overall the food was just... More

Asian cuisine in Germany is a little unfortunate. The flavors are dulled down for the German palate (I'm Asian by the way) so it's hard to find something authentic. However,Floating Market has many decent Thai dishes and the ambiance is charming. The staff is very nice and the restaurant is split on three floors so it's fairly quiet. Perfect place... More
