Premium döner

Alaturka distinguishes itself from the competiton because opposed to standard doner meat, they use unprocessed meat with no added flavours. This was the best doner that I have ever eaten, either in Europe or Turkey. It was so different from the ordinary that I would hesitate to call it a doner! The meat is actually identifiable as meat and is clearly formed from scratch rather than being the "mystery meat" that one usually encounters at doner stands or in restaurants.... More

Frankly, the kebab was delicious, but we had to wait for more than 35 minutes get a delicious kebab sandwich with grilled vegitables. Finally, we didn't even get one of the few seats in the snack bar, so we had to eat outside in the rain. My recommendation: don't go there during the rush hours.

Although I came from Turkey, doner was much more tasteful than the one in mother country. There was a line about 10 people, and while I was there the line is not getting shorter. However, it's definitely worth to wait.

This place always has a line when I drive by, so I decided to try the place. It is a very small Doner shop with group tables. We waited 15 minutes to get to the front of the line, and it was worth it. The bread is fresh and warm out of the oven. The veggies are fresh, and the... More

Great food. Definitely more traditional food than what you get at any other döner shop. The veggies are fresh and tasty and the bread super soft. Prepare to wait in line for at least ten minutes as it is typically fairly crowded. It's well worth the wait.

a must-eat in Stuttgart! The Döner is from proper Beaf. Fresh baked vegetables (carrots, aubergines, brokkoli). Without a doubt it's the best Döner I've ever had...and I had lots. Try the Döner Klein Gemischt! It's enough for a meal and it's delicious. The Alaturka Teller is huge, enough for 2. Make sure you plan in some time if you go... More

I always enjoy having lunch at Alaturka - I just love the Doner bread; especially the vegetables on the top of the Doner contribute to the Doner's special and very delicious taste!! Alaturka offers authentic anatolian food in a nice and cosy athmosphere; but sometimes the place can be very crowded - Alaturka is a famous institution in Stuttgart -... More
