It is a small nice and cozy place. You can feel a lot of love went into creating it. It has an interesting history as well. When you are there make sure to ask about the pictures of US military officials on the walls. Quite a few interesting stories about them. The service was one of the best I have... More

very traditional and homemade south Germany food, with good environment and nice people. Meals are all large served that is good for friends gathering together.

Family run in the garden area behind house (converted garage maybe) nice people but I was there for the food which was just standerd, not what you would expect for a restaurant, maybe a cafe. Cluttered with toys and tat. Not recommended if looking for good food. Will give two star just because service was good.

We have eaten at the Busnauer Hof for over 15 years. It has been our #1 place to bring first-time visitors to Germany for an authentic meal, and since we moved away, it is our #1 place to eat when we return for a visit.

I can't remember ever having a better (creamy goodness with the right amount of molten cheese) kaesespatzle anywhere else in Germany, and I've sampled many. Came here with 2 colleagues, one a local, on her advertisement of the schnitzel, and that schnitzel lived up to the hype and beyond. I'm not much of a meat eater, certain not the breaded... More

Cheese noodles to die for. The best you will ever have - guaranteed! END OF STORY. Service that can't be beat. Extra large portions - so share!

My first visit to this restaurant was for a co-workers departing. It's very small but quiet and personal. The owner and his wife and so nice and friendly and always make you feel welcomed. I was already hyped because they'd talked this place up to be one of the best in Stuttgart. First visit I tried the Shrimp Pasta...the best... More

We order take-away from here quite often at work. I haven't made it to the restaurant yet, but take-out is awesome. You have to get the tiramisu, it is one of the best I've had - and I try tiramisu everywhere! I've had the schnitzel, käsespätzle, and fries so far and all are very good.

I ate my first meal here in 2001 and I look forward to every opportunity to come back. Detlef's talent in the kitchen is unparalleled, and his wife, Marion, is the most generous hostesses you will find. Staples like jaegerschnitzel, zwiebelrostbraten, and schweinekotelett in cognac-rahmsosse are phenomenal. Try the seasonal specialties with asparagus, strawberries on pork (seriously), and pfifferlinge (chanterelles).... More

I’ve been going to this place for a while now, so I decided to write a review. Is the food great? To me the answer is YES! When I think of somewhere to take my guests/visitors to, we go to this restaurant. It’s not a 5 star fancy/smancy restaurant. It’s a place to get good food. Is the decorum a... More
