Good service and very good Sushi

We went on a Saturday, which is a limitless risky as you cannot reserve a table. We were lucky and got a couple of chairs at the bar seating area so got a great view of the sushi being made. We ordered from the lunch menu as it is also valid on Saturday. There are three options all with soup.... read more

A little bit of queuing which indicates that it s a good place to be. Nice relaxing atmosphere, mainly young professionals. Reasonably priced menu options and really good quality. Note: the address on Google was wrong so I struggled to find it. Look for the Feinkost Böhm and you ll be in the right place.

A friend suggested Sushi-ya, and skeptically, a bit suspiciously, I succumbed. It was sublime. The fact that it's at the back of the Feinkost Boehm--Stuttgart's top destination for delicacies--is worth the trip. The fact that there's a line--every night--to get into the restaurant, is another. But the most important reason? You walk by the freshest fish I've seen in a... More

The sushi is really good and I really like to eat there in the evening when it's a bit dark outside. The service is not japanese (I think it was thai) and couldn't speak and understand german well. I asked them once if I can choose the sushi in one of their meals (different sushi for less money) and the... More

Located in the high class food retailer 'Feinkost Boehm', Sushi-ya is the place for a sushi lunch or evening meal. Sushi is prepared fresh to order and hence is served at just the right temperature rather than the chilled sushi so often found. The atmosphere is busy and bustling so probably not the place for a long drawn out candlelit... More

I have not eaten sushi at many places in and around Stuttgart/Germany. I went there for the first time with a friend of mine, who read about the Sushi-Maestro from Tokyo who is moving to Stuttgart to teach us the real art of fresh sushi. The location and cooperation could not be a better one than with "Feinkost Laden Boehm",... More

Very Nice place, lovely sushi served on a little wooden board, the dragon one were excellent. Went there on a Thursday, not a big place so even during the week you have to wait to be seated but you'll have a very good time! Recommended to anyone who wants to have a good evening in Stuttgart! The minus is that... More

This restaurant has really fresh and authentic sushi. The restaurant doesn't seat many people so get there when it opens or about and hour after when the first waves departs. The restaurant is conveniently located in the heart of Stuttgart and right next to a GREAT fresh fish market place. They serve a variety of favorite rolls and some I... More

This place had excellent sushi for Germany. There was a line to get in but the place is small so you have to be patient and you can't make reservations. Also, it's expensive so expect to pay a lot. But, the food is worth it if you really love sushi and miss having good quality sushi.

I wouldn't call it a restaurant. It's just a tiny "sushi place" with 8 or small tables and a bar. The service is Thai, the food is fresh. The wine list is extremely poor. There were up to 5-6 positions of red stated, but only one was indeed. Taking all of the above in consideration 109 euro for lunch for... More
