Our first experience here was great. We went downtown, had amazing pasta and pizza. The staff was helpful and the people watching was entertaining. The owners toddlers run up and down the restaurant. The second time we knew it would be busy on a Saturday evening. We brought color crayons and coloring books for our daughter. We were sat at... More

This resteraunt is out on the U7 to Bocklestrasse and then a short walk across fields but BOY IS IT WORTH IT! YES YES YES. The place is confined which gives it a very cosy atmosphere. This was our 10th visit and although we only get there twice a year the owners treat us as if we were someone special.... More

Although you are bound wait quiet a while to get a table, the authentic dishes are well worth it! Once you've got your table, take your time and enjoy a bit a of everything: starters, first course, second course, dessert -- and pair each course with the appropriate drinks. Indulge & enjoy.

We ate at Il Pomodoro in Stuttgart-West on our recent trip to Germany. When we came the first time, on a Friday night, there were no free tables. The second time, on Saturday, we had to wait for a table for about 10 minutes. We were advised to make a reservation for Saturday on Wednesday the preceding week. The place... More

There are in fact 2 Il Pomodoro in Stuttgart. I’ve visited both with my teenage daughter a few days ago. The first is in fact a very small place, and I had to expect for a free table. The restaurant manager was very warm and kind, offering us a glass of wine and bread while we were waiting. The food... More

This place is small, always packed, and always delicious. The Italian cuisine is very tasty and very inexpensive. You can call ahead and take your order home as an option too. Parking is a little challenging as it is on a city neighborhood cross street, but you can always do like the locals and park up on the curb. Don't... More

The Il Pomodoro in Stuttgart West (http://www.il-pomodoro-stuttgart.de/) is one of my favorite restaurants in Stuttgart (second only to La Piccola Naploli). The omnipresent owner, Petra Reims, is always the first to greet guests, fluent in both German and English, and eager to please she really sets the stage for this place. The pizza and salads never fail to meet my... More
