The food was very good, typical flammenkuchen (Alsacian Pizza), and the price a complete bargain! Packed with local students (normally that means that the prices are allright) and with very tasty food. The service was little bit slow, but it is also tru that the Biergarten that day was very busy.

Nice student bar, but not exclusively for students. Extremely well priced, filling meals. Only except cash.

Really enjoyed the Flammkuchen. Even met a fellow South African. Great atmosphere and very friendly helpful staff. Seeing that I don't speak any German.

Great casual place for flammkuchen, nice outdoor seating, lots of good choices and I had a delicious Berliner Weiss beer, which was a very nice surprise since we had heard they are hard to find!

Love the flame cakes and the veal at this little restaurant. This is a popular place and is often crowded. Don't go if you are in a time crunch. The wait staff is usually very friendly and helpful. Try the dessert flame cakes.

Recommended by the hotel staff, this is an inexpensive, busy, full of students biergarten. Good solid German food and beer. Service was excellent.

Pub style atmosphere, with friendly staff willing to help translate the menu and make suggestions. Portions were big and prices cheap. The waitress even recommended a traditional sweet 'pizza' dessert - Suses fruchtchen - a thin crunchy pizza base with sweet cream cheese and your choice of fruit or chocolate. We opted for warm raspberries with cinnamon and sugar -... More

A nice cafe, with nice service, big portions and plenty of choises, all at very cheap price (10 euro for dinner with schnitzel, salad, fries, sauces & beer). i'ts perfect after a long trip, if you're stepping in the town for a night and u're looking for something easy but with good quality.
