Flammkuchen

The restaurant is very centrally located. It is very reasonable priced. The famous Flammkuchen is quite good. There is a big terrace to enjoy summer month. Inside is quite traditionally decorated including the waitress dresses. The service quality is ok, not exceptionally special.

I always enjoy eating at this restaurant every time I'm in Karlsruhe. I found out this place some years ago under the name "Goldenes Kreuz". But even with a different name the feeling is the same. You can eat very nice traditional German food (which I like a lot) but of course you can choose among other "international" proposals. Right... More

A nice beer house restaurant that gets a bit too noisy when full. Friendly and efficient staff. At a quarter to 10 pm they had run out of two of their "Wirtshaus-Klassiker" (the Schweinshaxe and the Schweinekrustenbraten) so we took the "grosse Wirtshaus-Schnitzel" and "Lehner's Rosti Burger". Both were ok and came with good homemade fries. All correctly priced. A... More

No, it is not the very traditional, dark and conservative "Goldenes Kreuz" it was before. More modern, lighter food, but the typical Badenian dishes, as served in a Brew House restaurant. The quality is excellent, service very good, and prices reasonable. We enjoyed a dinner with watching a Champion's League Match on large display by accident, in a nice but... More

Nice place to spend an evening with friends, also suitable for larger groups as they have a lot of large tables. Food is decent and they serve good cocktails. But I've to say I didn't like the red wine I tasted... Not a location to go if you lock for a romantic dinner with a date, but as said great... More

The price was OK, around 17 euros, but the Schweinhaxe was spectacular! Bier is a little bit overpriced on that local

Service a little slow, but good atmosphere, good beer, and the Flamenkuchen was great, so didn't mind a little slowness to enjoy the surroundings.

Some nice Swabian food and snacks, good beer, friendly local staff, quick and efficient service, large selection of starters, small place with small beer garden, flammkuchen are good value for for money. Table service.

Lehner's Wirthaus is always nice to visit, if you go in the summer or winter, the restaurants has always a unique atmosphere. German cuisine starts at flammkuchen in different flavors, nice as a starter to share with the whole table. Goes fast and stops your first hunger. Than it comes to taste, what do you like from a pfanne to... More
