Great restaurant in great hotel.

An excellent but rather expensive restaurant. However worth spoiling yourself while staying in this magnificent hotel. Worth paying a little extra.

Dear Bill, Thank you for your positive comment on the quality of our food - we appreciate it very much. Also of course your hint, that beeing prepared to pay a little bit extra makes sometimes the difference - especially if it is for yourself ;-) All the best for you and hoping to welcoming you back soon in the... I know fine dining takes time but when is it too much time. Tonight's meal was exceptional in all facets except time. 3 hours for 2 people is just too long for me, however the meal itself was absolutely exceptional. There are 2 tasting menus to choose from 3-4-5 courses. The beauty of a tasting menu is you indulge in... More

Dear Michael, Thank you for your visit, your top five rating - and your braveness to sit the matter out ;-) Yes, time is very precious and we try not let it fly away all to quickly. The charming option our guests have is to just book a surprise room after dinner. Let the car stay overnight free of charge... More

Enjoyed it all, a nice choice between French and German menu, the breakfast was very special. We chose the German menu and thoroughly enjoyed it.

As with many restaurants that I visited, I almost never walked into a restaurant randomly. This was not exception at Le Gourmet. I stayed at the hotel, so I can eat and drink. See my hotel review for Die Hirschgasse. From the beginning, I knew it was going to be an entertaining evening. The chef opened the door for me... More

Visited this restaurant when stayed at Die Hirschgasse. homely atmosphere, good service, great food. We took the seafood soup, goulash and noodles with mushrooms. I liked everything.

We arrived at Le Gourmet to a warm reception by the restaurant staff and showed to a beautifully set table in a very beautifully decorated room. Throughout the night we were served by two lovely people, a tall elegant Frenchman and a very pleasant young lady who added to the whole experience. We were presented with multiple dishes in addition... More

Le Gourmet deserves its Michelin star. Each of the menu dishes was creative, interesting and perfectly cooked and presented. These, however, share the limelight with a succession of very small offerings that were surprising and a nice complement to the larger portions. They have an excellent wine list, though their "open" wines from the region are a bargain and guarantee... More

I won't go into the food. t is superb and the chef is a master of his trade. However, the service had some strange lapses... I enjoy dining out and I always seek the top places and so far my lively attitude has been welcome in even the most uptight 3 star places (my and my traveling companions are never... More

Dear indichur, Thank you for your lines. Apparently the noise level of your guests did not amuse our service and other guests, that is what you imply carefully within you lines yourself. We are not uptight only because we are a Michelin starred restaurant and that is why we are trying to be pleasantly relaxed but still professional also sometimes... More
