Great experience!

Great food, great atmosphere! If you're looking for a german experience, Vetter's is it. Unfortunately we sat inside because there were no seats open outside but still great. We only ate the cheese platter because we ate so much food this trip but coupled with the beer and pretzels, it was plenty... read more

We were told they had the best brewed beer here. It wasn't for us. Beer wasn't to our liking, ordered a dunkel and tasted and looked like a wheat beer with lots of citrus. Waiter said it was the dunkel. Found atmosphere loud and service sloppy (college students who just could have cared less).

We were looking for something more traditional and we found it. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. They helped us choose things to eat and recommended all of the beers we drank. Such an amazing experience that really felt like old Germany.

We were looking for traditional German food, beer and atmosphere, and we got it! The food was good, the beer was better. They make their own, and there's a nice variety to choose from. The service was very friendly, too.

Popular with locals and tourists. Local beers. I like to order a "cheese plate" with small salad, pretzels, and frosty mug of Vetter's own beers. Mmmm.

I enjoy going to vetters for a beer with some friends. The food is good brauhaus style Although I would primarily go here to drink and not for a meal. Inside it has a traditional German feel to it and the atmosphere is nice. Usually it's hard to get a table in the evening since it's very popular.

This is a good comfortable cafe/brewery. They have traditional German food and locally brewed beer. The tables invite you to sit with other guests and I have often experienced that they are interested in having a nice chat. It is a great place to experience local culture.

We went as a group of 14 (which we booked in advance on line - no hassle) and were well served. It is a mini brewery that serves hearty German food and has a rustic feel and friendly atmosphere. There are Schnitzels of various types and the Spaetzle (noodles) makes a fine accompaniment. As you'd expected there is really good... More

It is true this is a tourist restaurant but the locals seem to like it as well. It has excellent local beer brewed on the premises, including supposedly the strongest one in the world alcohol-content wise. We thought the food was good: not outstanding but large portions of sausages, saurkraut, etc.The apple struedel for dessert was a highlight. The place... More
