Delicious food, great service, good value.

There really is 101 choices here, it is a massive selection, and all mouth watering. The waitress was extremely friendly, and helpful, she got us drinks promptly, and helped with anything we needed. She also spoke perfect English, and worked very hard considering she is the only waitress. The... read more

Been here several times now, and it's never a let-down. Friendly service, enormous selection of schnitzel (I recommend #95) and pleasant atmosphere. The place itself isn't that big so make a reservation. Only downsides are that it's perhaps a bit more expensive than schnitzel elsewhere in Heidelberg (although well worth it!), and the (obviously) limited choice of vegetarian options.

This was the only place on our 2 week vacation that we ate at twice. The food was absolutely delicious. And don't miss the vanilla ice cream dessert with the warm raspberries!

My wife and I came to Heidelberg to visit with some friends and this is where we went to eat. We are big fans of German food, so trying out this place was a no-brainer. The menu is extensive, with literally over 100 different types of schnitzel. You can choose just about any kind of schnitzel that there is. One... More

have been here a few times with friends and family. have always had a good experience and left with a full belly. it's not the cheapest schnitzel in heidelberg (11-12€) but you get a lot for your money- tender meat, interesting sauces and a mountain of chips. the atmosphere inside is very cosy and in the summer you can sit... After along day walking through Heidelberg we stopped for dinner at the Schnitzel Haus. The schnitzel was some of the best I've had. Nice and crispy, and not soaking in sauce like some German restaurants. However what impressed me the most was the beer. The beer of the season was nice and rich and the Heidelberg Weitzen beer tasted rich... More

Living in Heidelberg for almost 4 years, this was a pennacle of our restaurant portfolio. Anytime anyone came to visit us this was first place that we took them out to eat, and it would always set a high bar for the rest of the trip. With literally over 100 schnitzels, the quality of the service and food, and the... More

Really don't like this restaurant, taste commonly, and the most important is, the waitress service is terrible!! There is only one waitress in the restaurant, maybe that's the reason why she seemed angry to every consumer...

When I visit Heidelberg I try to get down to the Heidelberger Schnitzelhaus, great schnitzels, fries and cold beer, so what else could you want after a long day of travel or work. One thing is to remember to make reservations as this place is small an it is always full. During the summer you can eat outside and that... More

The schnitzel menu is very extensive, however they are all essentially combinations of multiple ingredients, with a few unique options available. The food itself is quite average and the abundance of choice detracts from the quality of the meal. Neither bad, not great - just average. The price point is comparable to other places in Heidelberg where you can get... More
