Visited this restaurant in June 2014, only just catching up on some reviews. The food is wholesome and typical German, you need to be hungry to cope with some of the dishes on offer. The beer is, as expected, very good. The atmosphere is great, served by waiters in leather shorts and socks, ok, its for the tourists but who... More

This was as close to a beer hall as you are going to find in Baden-Baden. The food wasn't very good, but I'd go back just for the big beers.

We visited this beautiful restaurant some years ago always in the Cristmas period and we decided to return in. The food is very good and the location is fantastic. It seems to be in a fantasy world with many many many christmas decorations, but also this is the spirit of the Christmas.

This restaurant is always so well-decorated for Christmas that we choose to have dinner there. We ordered a jaeger schnitzel and sit in front of the Christmas garden full of light, snow and reindeer. Love it.

A Bavarian kitsch restaurant serving a large range of southern German dishes. Great place to eat pork and sausages. Good quality (but not excellent). Good beer on tap. Efficient service.

We did not eat here, but we stopped in for some beer. We were clearly drawn by their holiday decorations, and it was truly eye-catching. The decor lent itself well for a Christmas visit, but I would not go out of the way to make it a number one destination when in Baden-Baden.

Food was very good and portions were generous. The service was not so good. Extremely busy. Recommend reservations. A fun place to visit and easy to get to.

Didn't find this place particularly great on the food front - this was a shame as it is very authentic looking. However, guess this is the ploy to get you in as this is really all it had to offer.

Touristic restaurant with try to be traditional Deutch place. Food is normal - sousages, beers, meat. But prices are high for such type of meals. Personnel are indifferent.

We were drawn in by the cute Beer Garden and the decorations. We were even more pleased with the meal! The servers wear traditional Lederhosen and are friendly. Many languages spoken. Great beer and food. The goulash hit the spot on a cold day. Definitely recommend!!
