Cheesy Animatronics

A busy and touristy place with some ridiculous animated bavarian dolls...but, they serve good beer and authentic food in a nice spot (outdoor table is best). The service is solid as well.

That's really a place for tourists, waiters with leather suits as in tyrol .. But the place is nicely situated with nice big trees. The food is good !! with a large choice. 50 € for a dinner alone .... the price is expensive ... but i enjoyed my meal !!

The restaurant is very democratic, it is almost always have vacancies. Very popular with visitors to the city, as there are excellent Bavarian food and beer. I would recommend!

While out sightseeing we happened upon this grouping of 4 restaurants. We looked over the menus and choose Lowenbrau for our lunch. The service was very fast and friendly. Here I just had to have Wiener Schnitzel and french fries not to mention a really nice Lowenbrau Pils beer. I love my Pils! The 6 of us were served in... More

The atmosphere was lively, beer was decent- but food barely adequate and quite over priced. 70 Euro for a meal that we didn't eat. On the plus side- the goulash was outstanding- so a great place for tourist watching.. soup and a beer.. but don't go a meal..

Touristic place. Bavarian food which probably comes half-prepared from the supermarket. Bright sides - good beer, good and (if asked) quick service, clean place. Nice outside seating. Prices are too high - you can dine at almost the same price at really good places in Baden Baden (like Rizzi and Medici).

Great food and beer in gorgeous setting overlooking a small square. Jaeger schnitzel was delicious. Also recommend ice coffee.

If you are hungry, and not particularly fussy, this place is O.K. We arrived late after a concert and the staff seated us but were really watching the clock. The food was unexceptional but more expensive than other places in town. I guess we were lucky to get anything to eat at that hour, but if they advertise that they... More
