Nice family run restuarant

Very nice family run restaurant in Baden Baden with warm welcoming and Bavarian style furniture. Offering German cuisine, we ordered prawns fried in olive oil as starter, then wiener schnitzel and black forest mushroom with cream sauce in pan with bread dumpling. The restaurant was great so... read more

Very nice family run restaurant in Baden Baden with warm welcoming and Bavarian style furniture. The restaurant was great so delicious tasty food, expect for the size of wiener schnitzel which was smaller... More

Do not go there. I, not a good cook, can make better food. Service was like a bad cup of coffee.....

Our companions and I went here after reading reviews on Tripadvisor. This place is not a good place to go on a hot summers day as they have no air-con or fans, requests to open windows were unheeded. Service was very good. Their veal cheeks melted in my mouth and came with noodles. Friends had the fish soup and loved... More

It is a nice restaurant that is not to be visited on a hot day. The restaurant has no air conditioner and not even a fan. The front of the restaurant is operated by two nice ladies who are very efficient. The food is good but not special. The wine is very nice, but then again it is called a... More

My wife & I had dinner here in June. We found the place via Tripadvisor since I had researched restaurants in advance of our trip. The dining experience was very much in line with the reviews - very good! We liked it so much we came back again on a second night. Don't expect to walk in & get a... More

We enjoyed our evening very much. The service slowed over the course of the evening as the restaurant became very busy, however the initial service was very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent! We'd go back.

Had dinner at Schneider's with two other couples. The food was great. Highly recommend veal cheeks & the veal chop. Only issue -- it was hot as Hades in the restaurant which resulted in a four star rating. Herr Schneider is personable & accommodating.

The veal cheeks in Madeira wine were great. Tender enough to cut with a fork. The buffalo mozzarella with tomatoes were also very good. I was with a large family party and some people made poor decisions for their picky palates. i.e. A couple of people in our party ordered the herring--not realizing that texture is much different than American... My husband and I came here at the recommendation of our hotel and the great reviews. It was a great decision. Packed with locals on a weeknight, we were grateful to have a reservation. We did not have to wait for our table, but noticed the couple after us did and were treated to a glass of wine. Schneider himself... More

We went to Schneider's after a recommendation from our hotel staff. This was our first time in Baden Baden but will not be the last. The owners take time to take to everyone and they also give great recommendations on food choices. The food was fresh, flavorful and plenty. Great local restaurant!
