People in this restaurant don't speak English NOR FRENCH! which I found a bit funny considering that they place themselves as a French restaurant. worse than that, they weren't even making an effort. AT ALL. food was sad and poor (tarts are poor men's pizzas if you ask me). The only good thing were the vegetables, which we only got... More

The food is not bad, but overall the place is a little overrated for what it is worth. The location is in the busiest street, but very basic. Service (even by the lady owner, apparently) could be friendlier. Prices a little high for what you get.

Had no problem finding the restaurant or getting a table on a Wednesday night in October. The food was first class, as was the wine list. Service was discrete but friendly and welcoming. We both had steaks in a Dijon mustard, which were properly cooked, succulent and tasty (I have never had a bad steak in Germany) preceded by pâté.... More

we had a hard time getting into this place because the hours are not posted on the door and the ohone number is no good. They are closed Sunday and open Monday at 1700 hrs. Yhe food is outstanding and the service is very good. We had the veal tips and beef steak which were both exceptional. What a way... More

My wife and I have been going to this establishment for 4+ years and we are always impressed with the quality of their food along with the wonderful dining experience. You cannot go wrong with anything on their menu. My personal favorites are the flammkuchen with munster cheese, the lammhaxe with ratatouille and potatoes au gratin, and the duck breast... More

Had dinner at La Casserole twice, both great. During the first visit we didn't have a reservation but were lucky to get a table outside. My wife got chicken while I went for the flammkuchen. Both were so good we made a reservation immediately for the next evening. And we were glad we did. When we came the next day,... More

Trusted Tripadvisor and spent our one dinner at La Casserole. It did not disappoint! We could have eaten everything on the menu, and the service was sweet and just like we were members of the family. Delicious french specialities like frog legs, roast chicken, and an amazing rum baba. Great cocktails and wine to go along with it! Very cute... More

Small family restaurant, "feel at home" atmosphere. Very clean and friendly. Food is excellent; ate there twice and enjoyed it. Wine is very good and very reasonably priced.

I have come to the conclusion that five star reviews should only be used for an exceptional meal and that is the only reason I am giving it four stars. la Casserole was recommended by a gentleman we met in town and we were lucky to find a seat at 8:00 on a Friday night. The service was wonderful and... More
