Middle of summer just walking my last walk. Summer 2011 Festival Jazz a Vienne. A small town with great history background and music. All closed for siesta and the Chef offered to cook for me. Lovely foie gra and excellent fillet steik with veggies. Merci monsieur. Lovely price too.

It had been a wet morning and I was about half way round the signed walk of Vienne when the clocks chimed noon and L'Arlequin came into view and I decided I needed lunch. For €10 I had asparagus mousse with salad and rabbit in cream sause with vegetables and suateed dumplings. Friendly service and I felt much more cheerful... More
