Brilliant!

Superb Bread, stunning desserts, delicious pastries. Top notch boulangerie and patisserie in Val d'isere. So good we went just about every day (for bread at least!). Great service - even for us who stumble through the french language. Were more than helpful!

Price is typical of area, but you will get a far better and tastier lunchtime treat for the same price as what you would pay at the bottom of the slopes. Highly recommend the Tomato Bread and Mont Blanc Dessert (avoid if you have a chestnut allergy).

We found this place by chance it is near The Loop. Lovely coffees and hot chocolates and amazing choice of patisseries with friendly staff and English speaking. Thoroughly recommend.

The best pastries and bread. We come her almost everyday to buy them. They are small if you want to dine-in and gets packed around lunch with hungry skiers. Ignore negative reviews. They must come from hungry skiers who are angry. Pick a few items and take out. Eat in your apartment.

Bread is amazing. And you gotta sample the many special deserts. It's one of my favorite places to pick up a traditional baguette.

This is one the best bakers in France but the cafe has constantly failed to cope when anything more than half full. On the last visit, the breakfasts arrived over a 40 minute period, one never arrived and they had run out of croisants!!! Not only was the service slow, the staff were rude and grumpy.

Stopped in for lunch on a quick visit to Val D'Isere. Food was lovely and the service could not have been more friendly and helpful. Enjoyed it so much that we went back for a return visit for lunch the following day. The savoury pastries are hearty and delicious and, though I managed to resist most of the sweet stuff... More

Not been to Val for years and on a blustery day we left Ste Foy , a treasure in the Alps, and came for a quick trip to Val. Found the Maison Chevallot for lunch and was so impressed with the gorgeous hearty food and really helpful service, even though we were 11 including 5 children - thank you !

Best bread and patisserie in Val d'Isere, by far. Excellent local products, jams, chocolates etc and must try patisseries. It is worth the trip, where ever you stay in Val dI. Great professional and good service too. If you like an expresso and a croissant early morning before skiing, that is the place to go! They even have a small... More

Been here numerous times, by far the nicest cafe in the area. Fresh pastries and hot drinks are delicious! Charming atmosphere, perfect place to come to warm yourself up with a hot drink and pastry after a day on the slopes, or even on a day off.
