I can confirm that Nano is the rudest restauranteur I have ever encountered and believe the guy below to be right even if his time was wrong. And that for us the cloakroom "lost" a valued hat out of spite as well as making us wait a very long time in unseasonable weather for their valet parking as we had... More

Beautiful chalet and a troll guarding the doorway. This place is the definition of the expression "rip-off". Seated 1 1/2 hours late, insulted by the troll himself when ordering, food late and cold, missing items, more troll insults and losing the cashmere scarf at the cloak room to cap it all off. Brilliant. Never ever again. By the way the... More

Sorry but I really don't understand your comment. The restaurant "La Sauvageonne" in Megève is close since March and open only on December. This comment is for another restaurant. Thank you in advance for deleting this from our page. Best regards, J-M. Fanara. More

It is the place people go to be seen but food is average and really expensive! Green beans for 28 euro! All - absolutelly all food and drinks are overpriced. Service is average and tons of people going there juste to say :" i was there" and be taken in picture. The average price per person with starter and main... More

Our recent dinner at La Sauvageonne cost €1000 for four adults and three children---and that entailed ordered reasonably priced local wines. The prices here are utterly ridiculous--for both food and wine. An entree of green beans cost €28. The food is mediocre. Not clear that pork should be served so rare that it is bloody. And the service was awful.... More

This is a very expensive restaurant but I don't think it is worth to visit... With the positioning they have, you expect better service and better food. Everything was average except the bill!

The location is fabulous with a great outdoor terrace and loungers to take in the mountain and sun. It's really a shame the service was so horrible and the prices were so high. We had to ask several times for water, wine, bread, silverware, etc. Almost to the point I thought our waiter was hard of hearing, as it took... More

We know this restaurant from a long time, the food has always been good and the place wonderful, but the prices now are just for Russians.....probably the only ones who can spend for a piece of really good meat with a tiny side ,59 euros! The sweetbreads dish was tiny, the vegetables overcooked as only the French still do and the half bottle... More

Service was great. My chateaubriand was amazingly good . Wine excellent. Deserts as well. Thevonly thing that bothered us, was that we had to reconfirm reservation 3 times before arriving.

This is my 3rd visit to the restaurant, obviously I enjoyed the experience the 1st 2 times. I was one of the unlucky ones to get the 1st seating booking. Everything from welcome to the exit was rushed and rude. I would have enjoyed my evening more if I had walked in handed over my credit card and then left... More
