Three years ago I wrote a review of l'Ourson titled 'A Wonderful Choice' and last we visited again. It is still wonderful. For €32 each you can eat a superb meal with complete confidence. There are two starters, two mains and two desserts plus extra for a cheese course. Entrees were a pork ravioli course with a creamy pepper sauce,... More

A great meal worth reserving for 3 weeks in advance! The menu is modern and creative and only 32 euros for a 4 course meal! Started with a house apératif: plum liqour which was sooo good and not too strong. We had a corn cream soup for the first course which was amazing and had full rich flavor as well... More

Hidden on a side street near the Hotel de Ville, this small franco-japonaise restaurant is a jewel. I'm really reluctant to share it as it is already too popular with a mixed crowd of tourists and locals. For 18 euros, our 3 course lunch was delicious and elegantly presented (worthy of a 1 michelin star). This is not a bouchon!... More

Delicious, light, French/Japanese fusion food for an incredibly good price. A place where you can afford to order a second dessert unlike most French restaurants. Great deal! Reserve ahead of time. They only take reservations not earlier than 3 weeks.

Given the advice of other reviewers, I reserved about a month ahead of time to eat here with three friends, so I can't say that I had a hard time getting a table. I apparently hadn't done too much other homework, though, because I was expecting more of a bouchon-y experience, and the food and ambiance was much more Japanese-modern... More

It's very hard with this restaurant. We had recently our second visit - for diner we could not book anymore - full. But we had luck and managed to get a table for luch. So this is the first challenge - getting a table! Second - the food is so exceptional good and packed with refined cuisine that we almost... More

We tried to make a reservation three weeks ago....they were fully booked until now. Modern minimalistic decor but pleasant. We were in the little room to the side and I think this is best....the larger room was a bit noisy. Service was good, although maybe a bit slow. But lots if smiles! Very small menu, only two choices, one meat,... More

We went Sat lunch with my friends. Easily find the restaurant, as already described, here Japanese-French restaurant. What I found was the price is reasonable. The chef performs well, and nice idea. Probably for Japanese, it would be very helpful because one can order in Japanese although they don't have menu in English (perhaps also Japanese). What was bad was... More

My heart is divided - honestly. I should give this restaurant a rather "average" rating - so that it becomes less crowded than now, and that we can go more often there and get a table - which is very very difficult now ! That would be the selfish decision. Why is that so hard? Well, it is simply astounding... More
