Classy, but not stuffy, fine dining

In a traditional atmosphere, but with friendly (not stuffy) service and a pleasantly interesting menu. Many places in central Lyon seem to have the same set of traditional dishes, but Le Passage was refreshingly original. I would absolutely go back.

This trip was a while ago and I can't say who with but the food a to la Passage was excellent. The service too was very good. Although expensive it was worth it. We will return to Lyon one day and will certainly go there for another meal

The quintessential French fine dining experience. Situated down a side street in the heart of Lyon's stylish Presqu'Île, Le Passage is a hidden reward for those willing to scratch beneath the surface of the undeniably fine array of Lyonnais bouchons for something really special. You'll be greeted by staff trained to offer a welcoming and efficient service, in what is... More

Very well known restaurant in central Lyon with old-style atmosphere and vintage interiors. Service is excellent, professional and calm while food is good but...not really anything excellent. Prices are too high compared to what you get even if the experience was OK.

Near our apartment Le Passage offered upscale French dining we were looking for. Our wait staff spoke English and were both welcoming and efficient. We visited on a Tuesday and although they had an event upstairs, the main dining room service was unrushed. A excellent location for a special French dinner.

Requested a restaurant serving traditional French cuisine from the hotel and they arranged the booking direct. We were met by 3 gentle men at the door , shown to our table on the 1sr floor and introduced to our waitress. Service was excellent and when I asked about different wines the so lire told which wine he would drink with... More

Le Passage has many things going for it - decor is excellent, food is good and staff were friendly. Managed to get a table at short notice on a Saturday night when other popular spots nearby were fully booked. Wine list wasn't extensive but there was a good variety on offer.

What a great find in Lyon! Restaurant is esthetically pleasing, staff cannot do enough for you and the food is magnificent! Our hotel recommended this gem to us and I pass along the recommendation to you! It is literally in a passage so don't look for a storefront window but instead for a sign indicating the location.

Wonderful food, lovely atmosphere, 5-star service! We went there on based a recommendation of the concierge at our hotel, the Cour des Loge. The recommendations had excellent for everything, and this was no exception! The mussels, lobster, fish, foie de gras, and all the other items we had were prepared to perfection. I would return or highly recommend to anyone... More

Traditional formal French dining room. We were the only people there at 7:30 pm but it was full by the time we left. The service was efficient, if not friendly. My meal of warm foie gras with asparagus and veal sweetbreads was delicious My husband had the "menu" of rabbit rillettes (delicious) and sea bream with shrimp (fishy tasting). We... More
