A real authentic Lyonnaise restaurant

We were there our first night in Lyon and chose this restaurant because we wanted to try something local of high quality and several people pointed in that direction. The service was great from the first moment where we were seated upstairs and the food was really delicious - not fine dining - but... read more

A lovely warm welcome in this old Bouchon. Old wooden decor, it soon was packed out on a cold weekday evening. No chance of a table without booking. Huge portions, dishes explained, great service, reasonable wine and very large digestive measures. I had the 29e set menu. The saucisson entree was a meal in itself. My husband ordered a couple... On a work trip to Lyon, my Lyonaisse boss recommended this restaurant as one of the best in Lyon. I didn't go to enough places to confirm this, but it did not disappoint. The salade de cochonailles was delicious, I had the quenelle which was also excellent. Wine was great, cheese and dessert were also delicious. Atmosphere was good, service... More

This traditional bouchon Lyonnais was recommended by a waiter in Paris and our landlord in Lyon. Excellent traditional cooking with an emphasising offal dishes, but with plenty of other choices. I particularly enjoyed the herring salad. Not expensive.

Traditional bouchon lyonnais. Good variation in price of menu, with a three course option available at €19. One of the original bouchons left in Lyon. Modest restaurant with fantastic food and wine.

After more than 5 years in Lyon: voilà enfin un véritable bouchon lyonnais. Every thing was o.k. They're friendly. Decoration was perfect and most importantly "Le plat" was extraordinaire, with a reasonable price!

We popped in as a family of 7 on a Friday for lunch and were greated with a smile. Despite being busy, a table was extended and we immediately felt welcome. As mentioned by others you are being served hearty Lyonnaise food, but there was also a fish option as "plat du jour", which was very much liked. When you... More

Small Bouchon restaurant with friendly service by owner. Busy and on tourist route. Restricted menu but with good selection, Scratchings high in fat just like pork crackling

A wonderful meal at an authentic Bouchon Lyonnais. Everything was delicious. And if you are a rugby lover there is a treat as you go upstairs to the toilets...
