great menu and great wines. some traditional Lyonnais dishes well worth a try...but very rich so do a big lunch or skip lunch and have dinner there.

La Tassee serves good food and wines at prices that match the quality. While not one the more modern restaurants in Lyon the restaurant offers a balanced menu. The service is just okay but did not detract from the overall experience. A good place to take business colleagues.

The restaurant is no big (regular for a French restaurant), the first impression is not the best (again, normal for a French restaurant), but apart of that a great experience. We got there with no reservation (our fault) but wre cordially invited to take one of the private rooms. Soon after other people got in there. We took one of... More

Another great meal in Lyon, this time in le tassee which is near the main bellecour square. Went for the set menu and had scallops, hare, cheese and a scrumptious chocolate dessert. Excellent service, superb food and a decent bottle of wine for a reasonable price rounded off a superb meal

This restaurant had a very modern décor and both the food and the service were quite good. Most people went with a prix-fixe menu (there were several choices) which was fairly reasonable and diverse. Prices were moderate to slightly expensive by Lyon standards.

Our hotel concierge recommended La Tassee Restaurant for our first evening in Lyon. The place was relatively close to our hotel with less than 5 minutes walk. We found the restaurant very nicely decorated and must had been a favorite business dining venue. For our dinner, we ordered as our starter, foie gras and scallop accompanied with a bottle of... This is our favorite place for lunch in Lyon. The menu offers several prix-fixe lunch options - all are great. If the scallop first course is available, highly recommend. The rabbit and the lamb are both excellent main courses. The atmosphere is refined but not formal.

Party of 6 in June 2013, reservations made because one of a few recommended in our Viking Cruise "daily" (and we actually could get last-minute reservations for). Most of us chose the prix fixe at the 43 Euro level, and were very pleased -- especially with the lapin, lemon dessert, and cheese plates (order the creamy Roqueforts!). However, the bill... More

Excellent french Lyonnais restaurant from a very old family, just been renovated and the atmosphere was great. Food was very good with a menu starting at € 30.00 if you want for 3 course. This place is not formal but smart serving traditional food. Staffs were excellent, the only thing it was very quite as it was the first very... More

Fabulous food, somewhat spoilt by a very dated decor which made us feel like we were in the lobby of a 1970's hotel and the dreadful waitress ! If you enjoy having your French corrected by a supercilious smirking waitress then this is the place for you ! The food was very good though........
