La Tassee was by far our favourite restaurant in Lyon. We made a reservation for one night and were so impressed, returned the following night. On the first night, we started with a salad and a mousseline Saint Jacques; followed by Pigeon for main course. The pigeon was especially delicious. A lovely cheese of the area, a saint-marcellin, finished the... More

We actually stumbled across this restaurant. What a find! The staff were welcoming, professional and there was not an ounce of snobbery. Clearly we had entered a very fine restaurant. It was our first evening in Lyon and it turned out to be one of the best meals of our holidays. The evening was faultless.

The dinner was organized by business partner and the menu was selected before. All the food was very salty. Main meat was drawning in an owful salty sauce and was uneatable. Desert was nothing special. Maybe the menu was very specific, but anyway, it doesnt excuse so much salt. Dont recomend

I ate here as part of a group for work. Lovely restaurant; Nice staff and good food. I would have prefer some carbs other than bread with dinner but that’s just my taste. I had the smoked salmon with lentils as a starter which was beutiul. Ox check and roast veg for mains which was a wee bit bland and... More

I ate here with family including two young children on a Thursday evening and both the food and the service were excellent. Although they do not have a kids menu, they made a dish of chicken with pasta for our youngest daughter that was very child friendly, while our eldest had the sea bass from the adults menu that she... In Lyon for a day and unable to get a table at L'Institut Paul Bocuse, the hotel suggested "something as good" just up the street from Bocuse. La Tassee's four course menu -- yes, the most expensive of the menus -- was simply outstanding. It was the chef's choice and the chef clearly relished doing something different and special from... ... why this place does not have more 5 star ratings. Perfect service, great menu and excellent value. The staff does a great job and the place has a very rich history, looks classy without being sterile and they took great care of requests because of food allergies. It is difficult to choose in Lyon where to go because so... More

We and our friends enjoyed a great meal. We chose the menu of 33€ and it was really delicious! Ideal for a romantic dinner, too. Charm and cozy ambiance with nice, minimal decoration. The service was very good and the staff very polite. Definitely recommended.
