Refined Service

This two star Michelin restaurant is in the old section of Lyon. Tables are set up in small rooms so the atmosphere is quiet and subdued. Service is exceptional, as the many servers keep an eye on your table and see that you have everything you need. The sommeliers' are all women and they know... read more

One of the best meals I have ever eaten. The restaurant is fantastic. From the minute you arrive the service is impeccable, the staff very helpful and extremely friendly and knowledgeable of both the food and wine. They make their own bread and have a smoked butter that is to die for. We had their artichokes and foies gras for... More

The easiest way for me to write this review is to copy the one before me: " my wife and I will never forget the 3 hour meal we enjoyed. we chose the "la degustation" menu and for three hours dishes kept coming and coming and coming... Some dishes were divine!! all were very good plus. It was too much... More

What a culinary event to eat here. The reviews have not done this restaurant justice and those were the positive reviews. The total experience was incomparable. A total mouth party. We had a nice walk to get to the restaurant. We were greeted outside by what I suspect was a gentleman whose job was to help people from taxis or... More

I will never forget the 3 hour meal i enjoyed. I chose the "la degustation" menu and for three hours dishes kept coming and coming and coming... i cannot say enough about the desserts! I think that the classic menu would have been closer to my tastes. Strongly recommend this restaurant.

We had the “Classic Menu” and did not regret it. The food was delicious, flavors were intense and the presentation incredibly beautiful. The Foie gras and artichoke v10 (10th iteration of the Chef, just introduced a few days ago) was just amazing. Wonderful bread with smoke butter from Brittany, which is amazing. The service was great with attentive staff but... More

This was a stunning experience. The house is really old, you feel the history, and the owners prepared all to preserve the history. But of course still fully renovated. So, if you like feeling history then you're in the right place. If you expect a modern setup you're wrong in this restaurant! So, I think there is no doubt on... More

I came to Lyon for one reason: gastronomy! Since I was alone I was limited to order from the a la carte menu, a choice of 2 or 3 , I chose 3, and ended up with 4 deserts! This is a 2 star Michelin restaurant so I expected the food to be very good and it did not disappoint!... More

Service can truly make or break the experience at the restaurant. We had the lack of luck to be served by a walking embodiment of all French cliches about waiters - pompous, unpleasant and standoffish. Even the lovely team at the entrance could not erase the impression. The food...yes, it was good, very good even, but I feel that as... More

I'm backpacking across Europe and on a tight budget, but decided with the culinary history of Lyon it would be my destination to explore French cuisine. I picked this restaurant from Trip Advisor and reviews from locals confirmed my choice. It was definitely worth it! Great culinary experience with awesomeness across the board from food, presentation, service... Pricey, but delicious... More
